Keep it clean

Hello Daisies!!

Hope everyone is loving their spring! Mine is flying by faster than I can blink! I am so happy you have taken the time to stop by!! Thank you.

I know that we have all completed our spring cleaning, haven't we??? We are all friends here right? So, lets be honest, I am getting close, I think. When I do get all finished I want to make sure to keep up with a few things that seem to slip through the cracks. I thought I would share one of my ideas that I am going to implement, with you!! I am up for suggestions to make it better or completely different, so please let me know your thoughts!!

I am going to use this old magnetic board and little spray paint to transform it into my cleaning command center. I think it will be fun with a few pieces from some of the  May Cocoa Daisy kits! (the painting was done outside on a drop cloth NOT IN THE HOUSE)

I used rust-oleum painterstouch 2X ultra cover paint and primer in the color lemon grass. It took several coats but covered well!

While it was drying, I decided what chores were most important to add to the command center. The beauty is I can add or subtract chores as needed!!

The personal planner pages are what i chose to use for my master lists.

There were things on my list that needed done daily, weekly and monthly.

The daily routine, was separated into morning (AM) and evening (PM) using the daily to do pages. Make extra if you like the satisfaction of marking off you list items 😉

Weekly chores were added to the week on two pages and I only chose to use four days as chore days. That meant room for some fun decorating. Again, make more if you like to check off your list!!! Of course you could do more chores on less days or less chores on more days, the choice is yours!!

Last I chose to add a shopping list, this way I can write down supplies I run out of and need to get at the store.

I loved the die-cuts in the scrapbooking kit so much for this project. They were perfect for magnets!! I used an old magnet that I received in the mail to make these fun little accessories. Simply cut the magnet to fit the die cut and glue it on the back!

The scrapbook paper made a perfect frame on my board, and who couldn’t resist adding some of the super fun journaling cards from the DITL kit for a little spunk!!

I hope you enjoyed todays post and some part of it was useful for you. I know that I enjoyed this creation and hope it will help me not feel so overwhelmed, plus keep my house feeling spring clean all year.

Thank you for joining me today!!

Until next time, XOXO,

Kami
