This is Marie. First of all I want to wish you all a Happy New Year!!!

As always the Day In The Life Kit is splendid!!!

I love this kit because we can really use it for so many things: scrap pages, pocket pages, pocket letters, cards, planners, home deco, …

This month the ladies created scrap pages, pocket pages and cards.

Wow we have so many gorgeous projects here!!!! I love seeing them all toghether!!!! Let’s start …

Lisa created such a dreamy page. She made a mixed media background and placed two 3×4 and one 4×6 cards in her page. She used an exclusive paper to mat her cards and her beautiful picture and made cute little clouds that she cut from the same paper. To embellish her page, Lisa used the butterflies and stars rubons, the wood veneers and stickers from the kit.

Katherine also used two 3×4 and one 4×6 cards and one instax photo for her gorgeous layout. She created a relief frame by rolling her white paper and inking it with the pink stamp pad and then placed it on an exclusive paper from the scrapbook kit. She used the die cuts, printables, rubons, stickers and one wood veneer to embellish her page. I like the dynamic she created with the different arrows that start from the die cut ‘Love’ and lead the eye towards the main point of her page, her photo.

Suzanna created a sublime romantic page. I am counting four cards that she used to mat her picture with a tag, a piece of vellum and a doily. She used the cutfiles from this month that she layered on 2 patterned papers from the scrapbook kit. To embellish her page, she used die cuts, printables, stickers, rubons and alphabets.

Alissa made 2 fabulous pocket pages as only her can. She placed 7 cards. 1 is made with an exclusive paper. She wrote her journaling on it and then layered a piece of the specialty paper on top of it. She used the alphabets, a heart she fussy cut from a patterned paper, die cuts and 1 wood veneer.

Suz made 4 super beautiful clean and simple cards using the 3×4 cards, papers and cardstock from the scrapbook kit and just a few embellishments: doilies, gold stars rubons, stickers, a little bit of stamping in one card and the washi tape to frame another card.

Sarah made both a project life spread and a scrapbook page to document her family life for the beginning of January. They are equally gorgeous!!! On her pocket page, she put 4 cards and 5 cute photos and on her scrapbook page, she placed 2 cards, 1 photo and she fussy cut doilies from a patterned paper. She decorated her pages with rubons, flair, die cuts, wood veneers and stickers.

As for my page, there were so many cards I loved that I chose a bigger format this time. I put 9 cards and 3 photos from Paris that I had already scrapped previously. It isn’t a problem for me to scrap the same photos several times because the end result is never the same. I am joining Alissa and Suz when they say that the cards are so gorgeous that they are self-sufficient and don’t need anything else extra. I used a flair, some die cuts and printables.
