Did you make it to the forums for reveal??
March’s “Grey Street” comes with 3 Studio Calico wanderlust acetate sheets.
The patterns will vary but the things you can do with them…
Endless! (Well almost!)
I have 2 ideas to share with you today.
The first involved some gesso and water colour paint.
The first thing you should notice about the acetate is that the print is printed on to one side of the transparency.
The “whiter” side is the top.
Using a thin coat of gesso mixed with green water colour paint I covered the back.
Once it was dry I used it to back a Studio Calico “Wanderlust” wood veneer clips (found in the Blue Ridge add on)
The second idea I had was to mount a sheet of acetate on the back of one of the Studio Calico Wanderlust cork frames (also found in the Blue Ridge add on).
The thin cork has a adhesive back so I simply stuck the acetate onto it.
I then flipped it and added it to my page.
Love the white on cork.
Hope these tips, along with Alissa’s (that you can view HERE) and Patricia’s (that you can read HERE), give you some inspiration to use the acetate sheets.
Have fun creating!
