How to add extra colour to your Scrapbooking Pages

Road Trip Warrior

Today I am sharing some tips with you on how I add extra colour to my scrapbooking pages.

I am using my August Kit.

I often like to add a bright colour border to my LO’s.I trim down a couple of 2cm off the sides off my white card stock and stick on to a coloured piece of 12×12 card stock. Sometimes I stick on straight and sometimes at an angle. I love this bright frame to my work.

I love to add paint to my pages. Using stencils is a really fun way to do this. It’s really fun to create your own backgrounds.

Sewing is a great tip. Not only does it add colour, but great texture too. I also like to use coloured thread to wrap around pieces on my work.

And by adding lots of bits and pieces. I like to place a few pieces in a little tray when I scrapbook and have them to hand so I can add bits and pieces as I wish. This is also a great way to use up used embellishment packs.

Scrapbooking with lots of colour makes me happy. I hope you find these tips helpful.
