Merry Christmas & Our Favourite 2015 LO’s

Hello and Merry Christmas!!!

We hope you are enjoying your Christmas so far.

I have asked the DT to share with us their favourite LO that they have made this year. I love looking back at the end of each year and picking out my favourite creations. It’s great to do this and choose a few and ask yourself why in particular they are your favorites. Is it the design, the colours, a particular technique???? It often helps me if I hit a block to look back over my favourite work and remember what I have enjoyed doing in the past.

So I have some favourites for you today.

Let’s start with Alissa.

alissa

Alissa picked one using October’s ‘Memonto’ Kit. Isn’t t fun? I love those Fall like layers and how she’s pieced all those patterns together. Everything is such and mismatch and yet it works so perfectly. I love it!!

katherine

Katherine picked this LO of her’s. It’s so much fun. Those pineapples in the kit were made to go with these photos, don’t you agree?

You Always Know by Emily Pitts

Emily’s favourite was made using the ‘Hemmingway Kit’ in August. This is so sweet. One from the heart. I just adore her use of the cute stamps at the bottom. I can see why she picked this one for many reasons.

College Tour
A double pager from Suz and like Emily, also made with the August Kit. I can see that this one is special for Suz as they get ready to start a new chapter.

sha

I love the design from the LO that Sharmaine picked it. It’s so bold and very Sharmaine like in style. Her work is wonderful and very inspirational.

me

Here’s my favourite made with the March Kit during the crop. I love the contrasting colours and the fun photos. This LO just makes me smile. I’ve learnt over the years that I love working with strong contrasts. Strong colour combinations, good texture…anything that stands out and often a story that makes me smile. This has all of these.

doris

Doris said that she was going nostalgic and picked one from January, her first month with Cocoa Daisy. There’s so much to see on this page, All the layers and bits and pieces. I bet she had so much fun making this one.

denise

This one is so fun from Denise. Those bright and happy colours!! Denise’s LO’s are always so funky. I love how she used those alphas. What a cool technique!!

ashli

Ashli’s that she picked was from the February Kit. Rather dreamy I think. Such a cleaver use of paper. I’m thinking what a great way to use up scraps!! Great idea.

anna

And finally I have one from our lovely Anna. Anna used the September Kit. This LO is so happy. Pretty papers, cute stamps. I love this one too. A great one to scraplift.

I hope you’ve enjoyed seeing our favourite LO’s this year.

Now it’s your turn. We’d love to see your favorite LO that you’ve made. Please share with us here.

Merry Christmas xxx
