……Everywhere you go.
It certainly is!! This is blog is no exception today. A few of us from the DT have gotten together to show your our Christmas creations using this months December Kit. It may not be Christmas themed, but that doesn’t mean to say that you can’t make Christmassy themed goodies with it if you want to.
We have some fun Christmas Cards.
Look what Nicole made. I love how she used the alphas from the main kit.
And these are made by Nicole too. Great use of the patterned papers here and the circle stamps.
And this is so cute with the banners from both add ons.
Sharmaine made some really fun tags. The snowmen are made from the circle stamps. Aren’t they cute?!!
Sharmaine also made this card. It really looks like a stained glass window.
Sharmaine said that she created this using Ashley’s file cut and her Silhouette Cameo pen. She then added some water colour, white pen and some of the glitter from December’s kit.
I’ve been busy making gift bags, 12 to be precise. I like to give hamper type gifts to our nieces and nephews and friends. A few little gifts, some chocolate and this year I’ve been making personalised tree decorations and I’m going to make bags of fudge with the children to add.
The gift bags look like this.
I printed the messages on to white card leaving a space for the trees in the middle. The trees were made by cutting strips of patterned paper and rolling it. It’s a little tricky and to be honest when I run my tape gun along the strip to secure each roll of paper they do go flat, but by putting a skewer through and pressing, you do get that round shape back again. I’m really pleased with how they have come out. I’ve finished them by adding some gold stickles.
We hope your Christmas preparations are coming along well. I think it’s such a lovely way to show you care by giving something homemade.
Have fun!!
