Traveler’s Notebook Adhesive Pocket Inspiration

Happy Friday everyone! Today Jil and I are bringing you some sticky pocket inspiration! The Picket Fence Traveler’s Notebook kit came with a pair of adhesive pockets that are so fun and add a great dimension to your memory keeping.

Jil put together this cheery layout using both pockets and highlighting all the springy greens and yellows in the kits.

These pockets are packed with detail! So many little pieces tucked in with those beautiful flower photos.

The tiny details Jil added to her layout really pulls it all together.

I used one pocket on my layout to hold a photo and some journalling. On the other side of the layout I hand cut a cute rainbow out of some of the patterned paper from the kit and added some stickers and embellishments.

When I saw the adhesive pockets I knew I’d be stuffing some tags in there. I used some of the simple tags from one of the Picket Fence kits and strung strips of paper and washi through the hole at the top to coordinate.

Inside the pocket are two tags – one with a photo, embellished with stickers, chipboard and washi tape (the phrase washi from the Traveler’s Notebook it is one of my favourites yet!) and the other with journalling. I used a page from the notepad in the Memory Keeping Pocket kit and embellished with the stamp set from the Traveler’s Notebook kit and some stickers from various kits. The new Traveler’s Notebook Kit is just so much fun. I store mine with all of the extra and duplicate photos that don’t make it into my family album and use it as a place to have no pressure crafty fun.

I just watched your May Planner Set Up on YouTube – 04/24/19. The bird stamps are wonderful. Do you have a link to a vendor from whom I could buy a set?

    Thank you!
