Hi crafty ones! I decided to use the Simon & Betty simple dori to document all the things I am currently loving or just love in general. Today’s focus is to use my stamps! I decided to document this photo of my nephew and I.
I have been holding onto this photo, hesitant on where to stick it since this was one of the first times I was holding him since he left the hospital. This memory is so precious to me that I had to do a simple yet memorable layout for it all.
I used the heart stamp to create a soft repeated background. With the simple dori, it is so easy to just paste a photo down and call it a day. To add some interest to your background, you can create a repeated background with the stamp and ink color of your choice. I usually like to pick a color that blends well so that the background isn’t too distracting. I then used black ink to stamp the love banner and arrow. From there, I embellished away.
A simple way to document a precious moment. Join us over at on Facebook in the Memory Keeping with Cocoa Daisy group for more inspiration and to share your crafty goodness!
Until next time,
