December Daily in my Dori

Hello Daisy family, Wendy here with some holiday inspiration!  Last year I created my first ever December Daily and I chose to use the standard Dori to document our memories.  It was the perfect size, I was able to keep up with the events, and it was finished just a few days after Christmas so a total win-win situation!  If you’d like to see how I created last years album check out this video, https://youtu.be/efzILzoVgdM.  It was a no brainer for me this year and I am documenting away in a Standard Dori and Simple Dori which I have combined to fit all of my pages in.  I am using the planner kits and the Christmas-add on kit to create our memories.

Here is my first page.  I begin documenting on Thanksgiving as we sit down and the kids make their final wish lists at this time.

Some stamping and pretty die-cuts make this page complete.

Creating a tree from some of the paper and my pictures!

Notice the big jump in days???  I don’t believe in documenting everyday, I document the memories that make our Christmas special, whenever they might happen.  It takes the stress off of me to have a picture each and everyday.

I’ve separated my Standard Dori booklet to add in the Simple Dori pages as needed, and here is one of those pages.  Depending on how big my book gets I will either re-staple the whole project or I will sew down the center, but I am leaving that for now.  I hope this gives you some simple ideas to document your holiday season, it doesn’t have to be stressful, it just has to be what captures your life, both good and bad.

Merry Christmas to all!

I love the idea of documenting when you can. Some days are pretty boring and then others are so full you could use 3-5 pages.
