Welcome Cocoa Daisy family! So how many of you have bits and pieces or even whole kits lying around untouched? Wendy here and today I’m going to share what I created from just this, odds and ends that didn’t make it on the initial projects, but who still had amazing life left in them!
I’ve been planning on making a mini album for our friends that moved away, but you know how those plans go… They keep getting put on the back burner, but today I finally pulled out all the matching products I had and set to work.
I chose to design my mini album in the July Simple Dori that corresponded to the June Memory Keeping kits. I removed the staples and took a few pages out as I didn’t have enough pictures to fill the whole book.
This was stickers left over from earlier months that decorated this page.
Lots of goodies from multiple kits on this page.
I kept my pages simple with the beachy undertone for all of my pages.
Washi tape from a much earlier kit added a sandy feel to this page.
I love how the pages allow you to build right into the designs thus cutting down on the time it takes to create your album.
I have gone back and added journaling and titles as needed for our dear friends.
Isn’t it great how so many different kits can combine so easily to create such a great project? Thanks for joining me today, I hope you have been inspired to play with those leftovers to see what new project you can create!
