Planner storage tutorial with Kylie.

Hello friends! It’s Kylie with you all today and I’m touching on a subject I’m sure a lot of you can relate to! I get asked this question ALL the time….

“How do you store your past planner pages?

If you are like me you put them away in that drawer or on that shelf until you figure out how to store them because you just don’t want to finish a month and throw it all away.My pile had been gradually getting taller and taller and I knew I had to do something. I like to look back on past planner pages a I also use them for Memory Keeping as well so I have a lot of photos in them too.For a while I was placing them in a large folder in their own individual plastic sleeve. This worked a treat for about 6 months until the folder got too bulky and the plastic sleeves were tearing under pressure.

So I created a storage solution that was quick to make and in the end proved to be very practical. You will be able to whip this up in no time at all using nothing more than some scrap paper and a cereal box!…….Yes a cereal box! Before I go on much further let me show you what I came up with……

I have cut down a cereal box, covered it in paper and have bound my past planner months into individual books.

I covered each edge with washi tape which framed things nicely……

It was quite slim line and I was able to fit 6 months worth of planning pages to one box.All neat and tidy within their little book covers.

I kept the binding very simple.A few punched holes and tied together with string.

I used just plain craft cardstock for my book covers with some of my favourite Cocoa Daisy stamps to date each booklet. You could use anything you like though.

As I mentioned earlier, this project was quite quick to make using very little supplies. Here is a look at my process video-

So there you have it sweet Daisies…. I hope you have enjoyed my post today and it helps you with your own storage.Don’t forget this was a guide only and you could adapt these techniques to any size planner page or even your Dori’s. Don’t forget to share your planning in the Cocoa Daisy Facebook group here.

Until next time,

Kylie.
