December is here and the year is going out with a bang! I’m so excited about all the festivities this time of year. I think I look forward to our special Christmas morning cinnamon rolls all year long.
I also scrapping during the holidays and this year’s Cocoa Daisy kit is such a great one! I have three totally different but really fun approaches to using the kit stamps to share with you.
Here I made a clean and simple page. I used cardstock and no patterned paper. Straight lines and typed journaling. But I did create my own photo mat using a lot of different colors with the skinny alpha and number stamps.
I think that it really makes my photo stand out on the page. You can totally customize this to colors that suit your photograph or project.
Lisa created this awesome “Dream Big” layout. Love her use of the DITL number stamps to label her photos. What a great way to make a photo series stand out. It would also be great for listing journaling as well.
Ashli, known as Souphousemama to some of you, goes above and beyond as usual and brings us three funky stamping projects made using the planner kit stamps.
First up is this adorable Christmas tree card. I can see this being a great gift tag or December Daily card as well.
Here we see that adorable little mouse peeking through. They stamps make great embellishments sprinkled across the page.
Last but not least, Mando! She sprinkles stamps across the page. A great way to fill in white space and to dress up painting and distressing. It just really draws the eye across the page and creates focus.
Now share your stamping projects in the gallery with us! Can’t wait to see what you create!
