Planning NOT to Plan?

Planning NOT to Plan? What? Let me explain…

Ashli here and I plan (aka anxiously await and obsessively stalk the postman) on the gorgeousness of the planner kits hitting my doorstep each month! But, I don’t plan with them! I scrapbook with them.

That’s right! The Cocoa Daisy Planner Kits and Add Ons are SO wonderful for scrapbooking. Layering, embellishing, fussy cutting… the possibilities are endless!

So, let’s have a look at some of my most favorite projects featuring elements of the Planner Kits, shall we?

First up, I employed a favorite technique of stacking multiple sheets of planner pages together, cutting strips, and layering the packets….

For this card, I couldn’t resist featuring the adorable art from the notepad that comes with planner kit…

And here, those amazing feathers? Yep… more planner goodness! This time, fussy cut…

On this next page I used the planner pages whole to layer up behind my photo and patterned paper.Friends

A little more fussy cutting on this layout, this time in the form of a pink scooter!Here1

Once again, lots of lovely pages are layered up here…IMG_9641

Here’s another page where I cut into a stack of pages, this time created squares that I layered up at the bottom of the page…Lego1

This next one is an all-time favorite project of mine! I used lots of planner goodies, and other lovelies to put into this thrift store planner and create a mini….MyLoves4

For this page, I layered the monthly tab behind my many that is comprised of DITL cards…SSmini1

And last, but not least, lots of fussy cutting and layering on this one, using the awesome globe and map motifs from a recent planner kit!time1

So, I hope this has inspired you to think outside of the box when it comes to your supplies, and more specifically… when it comes to your planner supplies!
