Hello lovelies! I hope you are having a fantastic Saturday morning. I am traveling and I only bring a few things with me when I am on the go. It’s just not realistic to carry an A5 planner around since I’ll be doing a lot of walking and who want’s a heavy hand bag?! Certainly not me. So I wanted to introduce you to one of my most favorite things in the world. Have you heard of the term “unicorn”? In the planner world it’s your ONE planner that you must have. The one that probably costs you an arm and a leg, the one you would die to have. Well, this one caught me by surprise and last year when I received one for my birthday I cannot believe I wanted to pass it up. My unicorn is called the Midori Traveler’s Notebook and I carry it with me everywhere.
It’s just a piece of leather that carries notebooks, plain notebooks that you choose what you want to do with it. I wanted to show you how easy it is to add your A5 planner pages into your booklets.
Some use it solely for the purpose of traveling, a journal/ diary, planning, art journaling, etc. I host a creative midori challenge on instagram if you’d like to check out the hashtag #creativemidorichallenge to see what other’s are creating with their midoris. I personally don’t plan in here- because I use it strictly for a creative outlet. But I wanted to try something different. I absolutely love how it turned out and had a great time planning the next few days of me on the go.
I hope this gives you some inspiration on an alternative on how to use your inserts, especially if you use multiple different systems. It doesn’t hurt to try! PS Happy Spring! Although in California it feels like Summer, and I only know it’s Spring because of my allergies. Until next time lovely Daisies!
