Well here we are at the end of another month. I can’t believe summer is almost over! The only thing that makes it better is getting to set up a new month in my planner. For August I’m choosing to try a new size, B6! I love how versatile the kits are because I can still make them work no matter what planner I choose to use.
I had to get creative with this set up because I don’t have very many things in this size! I cut up a pocket page divider to make a make shift dashboard and I love the way it turned out! I cut up various papers from the different kits and made cute little decorative sections.
I added this beautiful gold foil velum and simply taped on a pocket card from the day in the life kit. I even used one of the decorative stickers from the planner kit in the middle.
Now I’m going to show you my favorite thing I did! I made a super fun pocket bookmark. I used some of the gorgeous paper, the sticky notes, washi tape, and die cuts for this project.
I took two of the sticky notes and put one on each side lined up to make a tab, I made sure and glued them down extra good with my tape runner and them added this cute flower die cut as decoration.
Unfortunately I didn’t have any of those awesome Target dollar spot pockets so I dug through my stash! I had plenty of pocket page protectors laying around so I cut off one of the 3×4 sleeves and glued it to my paper to make a clear pocket.
Now I have a cute pocket to add decorative cards, stickers and even die cuts to! To top it off I added one of the tab stickers to the top.
I added another pocket to the back side and the notepad slid in perfectly!! Now I have a little page marker with storage and a place to write notes. I hope I inspired you guys to make something new and know that your kit can really work for whatever planner you are in!
Happy Planning
