Six great ways to use those scraps!

Hello Daisies! We are just starting to see the first signs of spring peeking out here and it has my spirits soaring.

Whether you have spring where you are, or just wish you did, the Cocoa Daisy kits are the perfect thing to get you in that sunny happy mood.

Today I am going to be sharing with you several ways that I used my extra circle die cuts  (leftover from my timeline layout) to create a bunch of springtime cards.

First I used one of the extra circles as a template to cut out this circle of phrase stickers.  I paired it with two patterned paper circles and the cute bunny and fox to make this thank you card.  The dear Lizzy merci puffy sticker was the perfect way to add a quick sentiment.

I made a trio of springtime cards here.

For the love card I used the negative piece leftover from a circle cut to frame this beautiful love birds card. I added an extra layer of patterned paper and rounded the corners.

On the bicycle card, I paired the circle sentiment from the die cut pack with a tag cut from patterned paper.  I lined up the patterns to create a color blocked look.  Love that trend!

This little bunny tag is perfect for an easter basket.  I used the circle frame as a template for placing my letter stickers.  Then I added a heart and bunny die cut to the center.

The last few cards I made are more thank you cards.

I used another negative piece to make a window and pocket.  I used foam tape to seal the sides shut and tucked a thank you tag inside it.

The last card uses a die cut circle from patterned paper as a backing for different paper flags.

I made another little bonus card because I could not get over all those lovely little tags from the cut apart patterned paper.

I hope this has given you some ideas on using your paper scraps and extra die cuts.

Merci!

XOXO, Niru

Thank you so much for your kind words! Really glad you liked my timeline layout too. I agonized over that one for quite a bit 🙂
