Holly Jolly December.

Hello lovely Daisies!

It’s Kylie here with you all today to share some of my December planning with you. I really admire how the December planner kits from Cocoa Daisy don’t have a overly ‘huge’ Christmas theme but then also lends itself to being transformed either way. I totally went for a HUGE Christmas theme……. I love, LOVE Christmas time.Let me show you some of my most favourite parts to my planner.

As I order the ‘Personal’ size planner inserts each month, I decided to use my Kikki K, mint green planner and the colour tone was a perfect match. I added my beloved Simon clips, the Santa one being from last year. I also added in some of my own from my stash. The planner charms are by our very own Mary Kay who puts together beautiful combinations to match the Cocoa Daisy kits each month. (You can check out her Etsy store HERE. )

If you ordered the Christmas Bonus kit this year then I am sure you have been having fun creating with all the extra little goodies. I loved creating extra dashboards from the Crate Paper, paper pad that was included- combining the die cuts and quote cards as well.

There was lots of different colour combo’s this month and I liked being able to combine both traditional and non traditional colour themes. The quote card on this next dashboard was from the printables.

Do you like to collect your Simon cards? I sure do and what I mean by ‘collect’ is I can never bring myself to glue them or cut them so I keep them in my planner with a paper clip so I can re-use or admire them again later.I’ve added one of the cards from last December to this month as well!

Next is a little look at some of my most favourite planning pages for the month so far. I always enjoy using my monthly overview page, filling it with important events and surrounding them with many of the stamps, die cuts, and stickers. For my weekly pages you will always find me using alpha stickers to highlight important items to remember. Not only does it serve a practical purpose but I love the aesthetic it gives to my planner.

How do you like to use your week on one page, coloured pages?? I change how I use these all the time depending on what I have going on each month. For December they were my ‘Brain Dump’ and ‘To-Do’ notes. I have also added one of the adhesive pockets with some sheets of the notepad for quick note taking.

Each month I love to find creative ways of making page marks. This month I fussy cut the girl carrying gifts from one of the A5 dashboards and laminated it. The cups were from the printables. I printed several and glued them stacked before running them through the laminater.

This month I also enjoyed adding in lots of tabs to my planner using the stamp set. I also used stamps from a previous tab stamp set as well. So easy to use.Simply stamp the border to your tab before adding your nominated title stamp. It makes my tabs look so neat and tidy, which I love!

And finally, I wanted to share my little ‘Santa Tracker’ . I created a dashboard with a pocket from some of the paper in the Bonus kit.The pocket was adhered with a little double sided tape to the edges. I also cut a tag before adding some of the number stickers. This is a quick and super cute project to feature in your planner if you are a Christmas fanatic like me.It’s fun to mark off each day too!

At the beginning of the month when I first set up my planner I also filmed a short video.Hope you enjoy!
