July Planning Journey with Kylie.

Hello Daisies! I hope you are all well! Today I am going to take you all through my July planning journey. I’m always excited for my planner goodies to arrive each month, but this month I was ‘extra’ excited for them. For the past 18 months I have been planning in A5 pages and I decided to change things up and move into personal size. I’ve been so used to all the extra room and I wondered how I would manage going to the smaller size. So far though I have been loving it! I decided to change for a few reasons; to work with something a little more compact and transportable as well as I had a few new planner binders begging to be used.

For this months ‘With the Tide’ theme I went with my trusty B6 Turmeric Spice Foxy Fix notebook.(Which I converted to rings) I thought the colour matched perfectly!

Every month when my kit arrives, my first order of business is making my dashboards and dividers.I love the printed cards we get each month and will usually punch them and add them directly to my planner. I even added some left over pom pom trim from my June Memory Keeping kit down one edge for fun.

I experimented with the exclusive papers and my Laminator this month. I played around with my Silhouette machine and cut some tabbed edges before laminating them and cutting them to size.I really loved how they turned out.

With some left over sequins from my June Memory Keeping kit I also made a dashboard with them sandwiched in between. It was the first time I had tried this and will definitely create more.I added the felt Jelly Fish to it as well.

When it comes to velum I will usually create a pocket with it, however this month I kept it really simple and made another dashboard from it.

I had no trouble down sizing with my monthly pages.I actually felt my pages looked neater and perhaps made me more organised….Haha!….We shall see with that. I couldn’t resist using my Mermaid and Fishy stamps from a past Cocoa Daisy kit. They were some of my favourites after all.

Here above, are some of my favourite weekly pages. I LOVE alpha stickers and I made good use of some from my stash that co-ordinated with this months kit.

I used my blank pages to journal or do mini scrap pages on. I love the colour this adds to my planner.

Thanks for checking out my planner with me today. I’ve really enjoyed the transition into the smaller size pages.Don’t forget you can see loads more inspo via the Cocoa Daisy Planner Fans Facebook group HERE.

Until next time, happy planning!

Kylie.
