Christine DrumhellerCocoa Daisy Owner
Cocoa Daisy was founded about seven years ago by Tricia Canonico. I first joined Cocoa Daisy, as a subscriber, in 2007. I tried out when Cocoa Daisy had a Design Team call, and made the team. About 6 months later, Tricia asked me to start creating the project kits. I loved coming up with ideas for the project kits and putting them together! Soon, I was joining Tricia for her trips to CHA, so I got a good idea of how much work goes into putting together the main kit. Well, fast forward to 2010. I found myself having to leave my marriage of 11 years, with no work history for the last 8 because I'd been a stay at home Mom. At that time Tricia happened to be pregnant, moving to another state and planning to close things down here at Cocoa Daisy. I approached her and said I wanted to do it! I was terrified... leaving a marriage, moving in with my parents and starting a business all at the same time. That was the worst, most stressful summer of my life! But I knew I had to give it a try because it was the perfect scenario for me. I'd be doing something I love and I'd also be home with the boys. My background in graphic design from before I became engaged, including 10 years' experience as a Composition Manager, gave me the confidence to jump in and pray that God had placed this opportunity in front of me for a reason. It's been an amazing two years! Learning as I go, always trying to make changes and improvements, working to get the kits out on time and to give my 100% to customer service has been more than stressful at times, BUT I wouldn't change a thing! I am just so very thankful for all of you. Thank you for joining with me on this incredible journey. |

Lisa SaundersDesign Team Coordinator(International group) and Activities Director
Hello : ) I’m Lisa and I live in the UK with my hubby and 2 small children that are growing up too fast for my liking. That’s what really got me into scrapping. I want to remember all the silly little things that are said and done. As a teen I started my own version of mini books, which then evolved into scrapbooking when my second child was 2 back in 2004. I feel so lucky that my family totally ‘get’ this amazing hobby. The kids love scrapbooking and hubby loves the photography side. All three often come up with ideas and suggestions for LO’s. I love seeing the kids sat together looking through our albums remembering the fun times we’ve had. This makes me so happy. For me personally it’s mainly about the story telling. I want to remember cute words the kids have said or things that have made us all laugh or like the time I had to give my son ‘Time Out’ at the top of a hill !! I don’t know if I have a style. I call it messy. I love paints, inks, mists, colours and layering. I like my LO’s to be fun. I don’t tend to plan, I just go for it and see what I end up with at the end, usually very messy fingers and more stained clothing. I really should wear an apron. I like using non scrappy items and discovering different ways to use my stash. I’m so excited to be part of this very talented team and feel very honored to be part of Cocoa Daisy. Thank you xx |

Mandy Kay Starner Hello there! My name is Mandy Starner, most recognize me by my user name, MandyKay. I live in Maryland with my wonderful and supportive husband, our 3 beautiful daughters, and our 2 crazy dogs. I eat way too much chocolate and I never get enough sleep. I collect owls and typewriters. I love thunderstorms and Tootsie Pops. I am a little bit vintage and a little bit modern, a little bit country and a little bit rock-n-roll. I have been fortunate enough to have my work featured in several publications, including Page Maps 2, Scrapbook Trends, CARDS, Paper Crafts, and Create. I can be found at my scrapbook desk just about every free minute of the day(not that there are many between housework, sports, music lessons, dinner, working part-time at my daughters' Elementary school, and errands). Luckily, I am a night owl, so the wee hours of the morning tend to be my most creative hours of the day. Scrapbooking and cardmaking have been quite an obsession of mine for about 9 years now, but when I'm not playing with paper, I enjoy reading, spending time with my family, and painting. I’ve recently added knitting and crochet to my long list of hobbies. You can always visit my blog: heyheymandykay.com, to see what I’ve been up to. I love Cocoa Daisy kits and I am incredibly excited to be a part of the Cocoa Daisy Design Team. |

Mandie Pierce
Hi! I'm Mandie Pierce. I am a thirty something stay at home mama and am married to my high school sweetheart. We have 3 kiddos: Claire, Noah and Collin. My husband is in the Air Force, and we are currently stationed in Northern California. We've been here for over 3 years now; our time to move is overdue! We met and married in the Atlanta area and have lived in San Antonio, Anchorage, Little Rock and now the Sacramento area. (Who knows where next!) I've been scrapbooking since our oldest was a baby; so, about 13 years now. We won't discuss the sticker sneezes or hand drawn thought bubbles those books contain. HA! I would describe my scrappy style as eclectic. Sometimes I like to make a clean and simple layout. Sometimes I like to layer it on. I'm always always drawn to bold, bright colors. When I'm not acting as chauffer, chef, laundry maid, homework master for my family, you can find me scrapping (obviously! lol), running, reading or watching tv. (Troy & I are a little bit of tv junkies! Ssssh!) I'm excited to be here at Cocoa Daisy and thrilled for the adventure! |

Kim Stewart
Hi, I'm Kim Stewart and I am an avid Scrapbooker and Paper Artist living with my son in sunny Florida. Scrapbooking is a very personal thing for me as it allows me a therapeutic outlet where I can just play and make pretty things. I love telling a story through photos, embellishments and layers. I consider my style to be happy, very layered and colorful and I enjoy incorporating little doodles and watercolored drawings wherever I can. I'm so excited to be a part of the Design team and look forward to sharing all of my creations. |

Denise Morrison
I am 43 years old and live in Missoula, Montana. I have a large, crazy family consisting of my husband and our two boys (12 and 13 years old), 3 stepkids and 5 grandchildren. I have two jobs and dream of getting more than 6 hours of sleep at night. My life is busy, messy and complicated but I wouldn't trade it for the world. Well, maybe for a nap. I started scrapbooking in 2001 with a good friend. It didn't seem like the right fit for me then but I kept going and figured out I could make my own rules and not worry about things being "acid free". That's when I really got hooked. Scrapbooking combines all my loves, photography, writing, paint, sewing-you name it. Creating pages and other projects is what keeps me sane. My other favorite things are teaching art to middle schoolers, kissing my husband, coffee, having just chilling out talks with my sons w/o arguing, junk stores, yummy food, good friends and doing nothing. |

Anna Bjorklund
My name is Anna and I live in Sweden together with Johan and our kids Linus, Alva and Tuva. I found my way into the world of scrapbooking in 2003 and I just love this hobby more and more. I think it's so amazing that scrapbooking can be done in so many different ways and with so many different approaches. Sometimes it's all about telling a story, sometimes I just love making a mess and experimenting and sometimes I have a beautiful photo that I want to preserve. Lately I've been a lot into painting and trying to learn how to draw. I've also had periods when I've been sewing, crocheting, making jewellery, playing with polymer clay or trying to learn how to take better photos... I want to explore it all and I just love learning new things! I think it’s fabulous that I can include all the techniques that I wish into my scrapbooking, developing my style. My layouts are often very simple, but with a tiny mess somewhere... I love Cocoa Daisy so much and I am so happy and proud to be a part of this wonderful team! Thank you Christine! |

Sharmaine Kruijver
I’m Sharmaine Kruijver. I live in Tasmania, Australia with my Mister Wonderful, also known as Dave the husband, and our 4 super beings, also known as our daughters. My days are filled with the usual life-as-a-mum stuff, also known as running around after people and, that nasty word, housework. And I love to stop and document these daily things whenever I can. I started scrapbooking in 2005 with the help of a friend. I am a story teller and each page I create has its own unique way of telling its own story. My journaling is always straight from my heart and I hope it inspires our girls, one way or another, in the future. I love clean and simple pages but am quite happy getting messy with paints to create, what I call, a grungy freestyling simple page. I don’t mind whitespace and would love to learn how to cluster better (only a scrapbooker would say such things lol). I love to cook, I miss reading, I dream of travelling, I long for sleep-ins, I drink coffee, I want to be a better photographer, I enjoy time with my family and I think that a day with a messy craft desk makes for a better day. I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside the amazing people here at Cocoa Daisy, also known as jaw-dropping talent!!! |

Alissa Fast
Hi, I'm Alissa Fast and I live in Ferndale, WA. We're in the far NW corner of the state, right next to Canada. My family consists of me , my hubby, Steve, and our sweet little kitty, Stormy. An interesting fact about her is that she's a Hurricane Katrina survivor from New Orleans. I've been scrapobooking as long as I can remember. I have several of those old sticky photo albums full of photos, ephemera and and lettering cut out of magazines. How thrilled do you think I was when I discovered an actual scrapbook store across the street from my workplace 11 years ago? I ended up working at that LSS for several years, until we closed in 2009, and met some of my best friends in the world while there. My scrapbooking style is a hard one to define. I love using shipping tags, labels, lots of different alphabet stickers and love to layer up my embellishments. Creating mini books is my very favorite style of scrapbooking. I love the little pages, find them so easy to create and the feel of a thick little book in my hands just makes my heart sing. When I'm not scrapbooking, I love all things vintage. My best friend and I spend a lot of time searching thrift stores, antique malls and garage sales for the perfect little "treasures", which include globes, maps, old mason jars, old cameras, old typewriters, dictionaries and hymnals. I also love knitting, blogging, shopping and watching LOST. I have a love of photography. I recently ungraded my camera and am feverishly learning all the amazing things it can do. I love taking photos of family, friends, my travels and all my lovely vintage finds. I have a dream to one day have my own photography business and do what I love full time. I am excited to be a part of the Cocoa Daisy team and look forward to getting to know everyone and sharing this love of "paper and stickers" with all of you! |

Mandy Koeppen
Hi I'm Mandy Koeppen. I wear many job titles in my everyday life from chauffeuring family accountant, to zoo keeping therapist but my favorite and the one I love the most is Stay at home Momma. I am happily married to my best friend Louis we are rockin the suburbs in Michigan where we are raising our 3 children Teagan, Mavrick, and Avery. When our circus aka life has an intermission I have a passion for Scrapbooking, I'm always up for a day of treasure hunting hoping to score that next must have vintage item, I enjoy reading a good book (yes I'm a Twihard Love the Twilight series), I love photography, and raising Autism Awareness for my sweet boy Mav. I have been scrapbooking in some form most of my life. While I was growing up I loved taking pictures and cutting up old magazines to make "stuff". I was that chick that walked into high school History with photos and the class name in a rad mismatched font cut out of a magazine glued on the front of her binder ... little did I know there was actually a word for what I was doing: Scrapbooking. Now it's not just about making stuff it's about documenting life, getting the stories told and having fun. My style isn't set in stone but one thing I always try to make sure the focus stays on the photo/s. My work has been published in Creating Keepsakes, Scrapbook Trends, Cards, and Somerset Memories. I currently design for Epiphany Crafts, American Crafts, & GCD Studios. To see more of Mandy's work or to get to know her better you can visit her blog http://mandykoeppen.blogspot.com or follow her on Twitter: MandyKoeppen. |

Stephanie lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee, with her husband Bo and her two grey kitties. She is a professional graphic designer and currently works in custom publishing. She has been published in several scrapbooking magazines and books and describes herself as as messy graphic scrapper who loves one-word titles. Photography, perusing design blogs, watching movies, yoga, baking and cooking keep her busy in her spare time. She would be lost without mist and BasicGrey paper. |

Jody Ferlaak
Jody Ferlaak has been scrapping since the fall of 2006 when she entered her first 24 layouts in the Creating Keepsakes Scrapper of the Year contest and ended up as a Top Ten finalist. Her background in graphic design and her general love of patterned paper, ribbon, and all other scrapping embellishments combined with her love of journaling and her desire to “save stories and thoughts” for her kids turned out to be a wonderful combination for her. Jody was on the design team as a fashionista with Scrap In Style TV and her passion for scrapping and paper crafting grew even more through the next few years. After the birth of her seventh baby {Jody has 6 kids at home and one in Heaven} and then a major double-foot realignment surgery for her daughter, Wyndham, Jody found that paper crafting had to take a back seat in her life for awhile. But her passion for the hobby and the friends in the scrap community stayed strong. Her husband recently took a new job in Minnesota and Jody and her family moved from Michigan this past Christmas. While she has yet to umpack most of her scrap supplies, Jody has hit Archiver’s and done some online shopping and has jumped back into creating again. “I am so thrilled to be making layouts and mini books and projects again! There has been something missing for awhile now and I couldn’t quite put my finger on it until I scrapped a mini book and made a couple of cards for some graduations. I just felt so happy crafting that I knew it was time for me to make scrapping a priority again. I realized that my happiness directly ties to me making things and I just feel like I am on cloud 9 to be playing with my scraps again. When something matters and is this meaningful to me, I just knew I had to quit make excuses and make time for crafting instead. I am so, so excited that Christine asked me to be a part of the Cocoa Daisy home. It just seems to be almost too good to be true, but I couldn’t be happier to be here. I hope to bring energy, enthusiasm, inspiration and occasionally some quirky journaling to Cocoa Daisy. I plan to keep paper crafting often and for a very long time {or forever!} now that I know how much joy it brings me. I hope to share some of that joy with others too.” |

Ashley Calder
When I was a child, I collected wrapping paper. I loved the dictionary, and wrote extensive illustrated journal entries. I collected found paper clips whenever I spotted one; the rusty ones are a special score. These things are still true today. I am a scrapbooker. I live in southern Ontario with my partner Paul, our three wonderful daughters, and two very dull orange cats. |
