I used a large mask from one of the add ons and painted with white gesso inside the mask. It's easier to see IRL than in the photo. I then used my sewing machine to further highlight the shape.

To bring out the butterflies I draw a line with a black pen around the edges. I cut a few pom poms from the pom pom trim and added them around the photos.
