I've just come home after collecting Linus at school. It's been two nice walks for Alva and me (and Tuva in the pram) today Linus and Alva are playing outside in the snow right now. I'm so said that they are saying that it will all rain away on Friday.

I did one page with the January kit today! Yum!

Tuva continued being sooo upset yesterday, after I wrote about it here. I'm not sure if it was the cold, or if it was because she tried some new food. Most probably the cold. She did sleep ok when we finally went to bed though... and she's been almost herself today, perhaps a little more tired. I really hope tonight won't be as bad as yesterday, because we need to get some (all!) wrapping done!

Thank you for the wonderful comments about our wedding picture. That photo is one of my favorites. All the flowers were silk, so I still have all of them. I set my bouquet out every year on my grandparents old stereo cabinet that I use for a buffet in our dining room/kitchen. It is a beautiful accent to my Christmas decorations.

I am so glad that today is Tuesday! We are dismissing school at 2:30 and I am counting down the minutes till 2:30 gets here!

I have lots still to do with decorating and Christmas cards that didn't get made. I think I will run to Wal-Mart this evening and get some cards done quickly and drop them in the mail tonight or tomorrow. I usually hand make them, but I have barely had time to breathe this month much less do anything scrappy.

I am already thinking of things I want to accomplish in the new year. Anything on your mind for the new year that you want to accomplish???

Hollie and I had a girlie hairdressers trip, we both had some colour put in
We were both colour virgins so was fun. We need photos now. I haven't had much off the length but huge amounts off the rest of the nest. I have so so much thick hair but it weighs me down. I get headaches when it's up for too long, ponytails fall out. Now I have lots of layers and it feels so light and has gone really curly again.

We are taking the kids into town for a little wander tomorrow.

Back at work and in front of the computer. The grocery shopping went well. I think I remembered everything - but still it is not disaster if I did forget something. I can swing by the store anytime. Just the only thing I managed when I woke up this afternoon...

I haven´t made that many Christmas card eighter Olivia. I haven´t had the time really. I bought some new Christmas stamps which I found unused the other day. I did buy chap ones and mounted pictures of the kids inside.

Anna - any luck with the wrapping tonight? I´m up for it tomorrow evening. Putting on a Christmas CD - some glögg and maybe some wine... About the Coop food bag (or box..) - strange we have it, our village is small too.

Hellloooooo...!

It's typical... the first day when I don't have to take Linus to school, I still wake up at 6 am... Johan has left for work - his last day before Christmas - and all 3 kids are still sleeping.

I still have a little bit too much to do before our guests arrive at Saturday, but hopefully there are more of "it would be great if..." and not so many "I really really have to...".

Linus only had 2 hours of school yesterday and then he had a friend over for a few hours. Later on in the afternoon I took the kids out and Alva and Linus got to use their "snowracer" and "stjärtlapp" while Tuva and I were walking back and forth on the road below the small hill... I don't even know if it's big enough to be called a hill, but anyway... it felt good that they got to play some in the snow. Unfortunately it seems like it will be way too warm tomorrow and on Saturday. There's a huge risk that most of the snow melts away.

I hope everyone is taking it easy with the last preparations before Christmas...

Yesterday was a trip to town for the last minute pressies, which are all wrapped and hidden away from 2 snoopping boys.

Today im off to the doctors as Harleys pneumonia jab has finally arrived. Long story, but he had to have a special one made up for him . So not looking forward to that bless him, but we will be going for hot chocolate and cake afterwards.

Then later, fingers crossed i can scrap if the boys are occupied. Still no December kit though

ugh. have been sick with some kind of weird crud. Cleaned two houses yesterday and was supposed to work last night but mid way through the day I felt so horrible. Like I was coming down with a bad cold but then also stomach cramps, nausea and fatique. I called a friend to work for me on my way home and went to bed at 3:30. It's now 7am. I feel better and will probably work today. How strange. That has never happened to me before. Just thankful I feel a little better today. Still tired but no more stomach upset, which is the worst.

It sounds like everyone is feeling the same low-level anxiety. I feel that way as well but like you Anna, I keep thinking, yes, that would be nice but do I have to? My shopping is all done I just need to wrap, bake a little and shop for groceries which I will do on friday. It will all work out. Just glad this weird sickness isn't going to be something horrible. I was worried.

Lisa, I would love to see photos of you and Hollie. You certainley don't look old enough to have a 12 year old. you look like a little girl yourself!

TL I hope your little guy is okay. not fun just before the holidays. enjoy the cake and hot chocolate at least.

How did the jab go TL? Sounds difficult...

We have a huge to do-list for today... trying not to take it too seriously, but it's not all that easy. My Facebook is also exploding with people saying "all done! time to relax!" and things like that... Oh the joy of social media, right?

But even if it's stressful... I'm feeling very happy too! It'll be fab to have J at home for a little more than a week and the kids are so excited about tomorrow.

Harley was my brave little soldier yesterday. He has had to have so many injections,tests etc that now he just goes into mass panic everytime i mention the Doctors , but he managed to compose himself and the milkshake and huge chocolate cake afterwards was well worth the discomfort.

I was really naughty yesterday and bought myself a Christmas pressie , i know i shouldnt have, i couldnt sleep lastnight as i felt so guilty......now its been shipped, i cant wait to have a play. Still no December kit for me, so im hoping its just caught up with the Christmas mail.

This morning i started decorating my Project Life album. Im really determined to do it for 2012, as me and the boys have achieved so much this past 18 months etc, it will be good to look back on 2012 to see that we have come even further.

Just got back from a week long vacation in the tropics late last night to be greeted by 14" of snow! I feel a bit in shock here! And looks like I have a few things to catch up on here... hope you all haven't been too crazy without newbie me...

Just giving a quick check in to say
HAPPY CHRISTMAS
It's Christmas Eve afternoon here and it's about to get busy.
Tonight we go around dropping off gifts, knocking on doors and running away as we 'secret santa' our friends. We drive about 200km in total, deliver gifts to about 15 homes and we have a blast.
Tomorrow will start early, with me waking Dave with a "can we start yet?", and then we have my parents,sister and her girls coming for Christmas lunch. I haven't had the headspace for Christmas so I am looking forward to tomorrow and for some down time
