Morning,

Oh dear TL. Is her any better now?

We like to wrap our prezzies when the tree is up. We plan to do it next Saturday when the kids are at their Dad's in the afternoon with a Christmas movie :)

Glad your tummy is better Anna.

Denise, my eye does that too when I'm stressed.

We watched Hollie in her school performance last night. It was really good.
She's performing again tonight. I have 3 kids coming back after school to then drop off again at school at 6pm. She's being bought home by another parent though which is nice. Saves going back out again.

I have some serious scrapping to get done today. Work keeps getting in the way.
Think I'll work for the next hour and then switch.
See you later.

Busy, busy, busy day today. We woke up an faced a lot of snow! Had to start my day with the shovel and a big pair of shoes just to get the car out the driveway to leave Max at school. Then Alice and myself went to the gym. Home again, I celeaned the whole house and put up the Christmas decorations. Off to pick up Max from school at 1 and then more snow to showel ;D After that I was to tired to fix us dinner so we paid our fav resturant a visit. Home again for a short 3o minutes and then off to Max hockey practise. Sven is away on a Sponsor Event (to a hockey team) tonight therefore a had both kids to care for. I´ve finally hit the sofa with a cup of tea. Had plans to scrap tonight but honestly - I´m way to tired! ;D I´ll end up in bed with a book I´m sure. Then if I read more than a page or two I´ll be surprised :P

Anna - I´m glad you feel better today! Beeing sick when you´re at home with the little ones isn´t fun at all.

Lis - did you get any scrapbooking done? We wrap our presents a couple of days before the 24th. It´s sort of a tradition that I sit on the floor and make the wrapping and Sven serves me wine :D
He is sort of a Estetic illiterate (his words)...

Well, better pore myself some more tea and try not to fall asleep. I always drink red tea (Roobois) at evenings and that makes me even more tired...

Busy day for you Marie.
What's your fave restaurant like?

It's 9.30pm here. I'm waiting for Hollie to be dropped back from the scjool production.
A friends parents watched tonight and they are bringing her home. The school is slpit into 3 house groups, each one performed their production, so we'll find out tonight who won.

Yes Marie, I did scrap. Got one page done. Still need to do another 2 for next week.

Off to iron x

Helloo....! December is a crazy month! I finally bought our first Christmas presents today - love internet shopping! I've felt quite a lot of stress re the presents. Much calmer now! :)

Tuva hasn't been sleeping much so far today, thus... no scrapping. I have a couple (or more like 5 or 6 ;D ) projects that I'm working on and I relly hope Tuva will sleep tomorrow evening, because J will be away with a friend and that would be the perfect time for a scrappy evening. This day is almost over, or at least the part of the day that I have for myself and Tuva.

Linus is going to a school disco tonight. :) I hope he'll have a good time!

This winter is a lot more typical for this part of the country than the last two crazy winters, at least so far. It was snowing this morning, but it's not cold enough and the ground is covered with lots of half melted snow... it's soo wet and yucky and no fun. :P

I think Tuva and I will go for some quick shopping, before picking the other 2 up. :)

I hope Hollie had a good time yesterday Lisa! :)

How's Euan doing TL?

I hope you slept well Marie! :)

AW, i really wish wehad snow :(

Glad you managed to scrap Lisa. I hope Hollys production went well :).

Hope you manage to scrap Anna, and ditto! I love internet shopping :D

Euan is alot better thanks. He is back at nursery this morning :) .

My main concern now is keeping Harley well and out of hospital. Hes woke up this morning looking like a little pale blue smurf :(. To cut a very long story short: The last 3 years, Harleys been in and out of hospital with chest infections, which develop into Pneumonia. It has caused damage to his left lung, so, this time of year is really hard to keep him well and free from infection and hospitals. My main aim is to get him to his school christmas parties/dinner/panto and disco next week, as since he started school 3 years ago, he has never attended them as hes always been to ill in hospital :'(

Arrr, if its not one its the other!!

Anyway, i have 45 minutes to get a cuppa tea down me neck before i go and get Euan........

Wonderful names TL. Euan and Harley, like them :) so sorry Harley has had such a hard time. My Jameson had pneumonia several times when he was between 2 and 3 and it was so nerve wracking. He is a healthy 14 year old now who hardly ever gets sick so hopefully that is the case with little Harley. :)

How was the holiday fete Lisa? I love stuff like that. Conner and Jameson have seperate ones next week and i will be able to go to both as they are luckily not on nights I work at the restaurant. I miss a few.

Marie your day sounds exhausting. Hope a good nights rest was had!

Anna, do you do much of your shopping on line? I did some but most I did at local business here in Missoula. We don't shop much at all. I bought less than 10 things all tallied. The boys are done and I bought some books for my grandchildren. My only grandson Bridger will be getting the boys old Thomas the Train sets. I usually make things for other family members. The only thing we still need is stocking stuffers, which Bill will pick up and something for Bill from the boys.

Tired today. Had to take a benadryl last night because of my eczema so I am groggy today. Bill is helping me clean 2 houses and then I work tonight. It's going to be busy with 2 big holiday parties. love those. everyone is in a good mood.

better go. have agood day ladies.

Fingers crossed that Harley will be ok TL! It sounds so tough...

Denise, I do quite a lot of shopping online. Our little town/village doesn't have that much to offer, I'm afraid. We used to buy toys from a really fab local toystore, that also focused on more quality toys compared to the other one, but unfortunately it has closed down now. :( Lego and things like that are sooo much cheaper online and I find that it's difficult to support the local stores when it would cost you so much more. We're not planning on buying a ton of stuff either... it's a difficult balance though, because I want to make the kids happy and I want it to be something special, but I also want them to really appreciate what they get. :)

We're only getting something small for the adults and we'll play a game to see who wins the small gifts. Then we have to find something for our kids' only cousin who is 2,5 years old and my brother and his girlfriend is getting something too.

I'm alone with the kids until tomorrow afternoon and it didn't start out all that well. It's like I wasn't mentally prepared and I feel exhausted from the start. ::) I've been angry several times and we haven't had lunch yet. :P I'm really trying to get myself together and to stay calm. I hope Tuva will sleep a little, because we all need it. When she is crying as soon as I put her down and Alva and Linus are constantly talking and needing me at the same time, it's just a little too much... :)

See you later!

Morning :)

I haven't been here ALL week *shock*, I haven't had a lot of PC time. Last Saturday was our playgroup Christmas Fair, which took all day what with setting up and clearing away after. Mum and dad came to stay last Sunday, spent Monday shopping with them, Tuesday worked all day while they went to Max's school nativity play, Wednesday worked all day and then it was our turn for Max's play (he was a Roman soldier, and was FAB ;D), Thursday was our playgroup nativity (which went really well), and Friday I dragged myself into work feeling cr*p with a horrid cold :(. I was supposed to go out to Paul's work do last night, but I cried off, I had the aches and shivers by then.

Not looking for sympathy, honest, just explaining my absence! :D I feel a bit better today - which is just as well, as we're putting up the decs, yay!!

I have read back, but I've missed so much, so apologies for lack of comments.......

Nicky you poor thing, I hate being sick. It's amazing how I can turn into such a baby. I mean, wives and moms soldier on despite feeling like crap but it's really horrible. I do hope you are feeling better. Can you lay on the couch today and rest I hope? Have the boys make you warm drinks and cover you with blankets. feel better.

Anna, I am sorry your day started out badly. I don't know how you do it sometimes. I only had 2 and there were days I just couldn't wait till bed time. You have 3. How about a fort made of blankets and you can hang out with all of them under it with flashlights and something yummy to eat. read books. I hope it gets better.

work was good last night. we had a big party, it was fun but late and we had to move all the tables to get ready for the parties tonight as well. I really don't want to work tonight but it will be good money. I am just tired. working 6 days a week is starting to get to me. i need two days in a row!! at least :)

no big plans today, probably grocery shopping before work. I am still in my pjs at 10am!!

Mad December continues!

Been working today. Took care of the most wonderful old lady that I´ve met in ages! I just wanted to take her with me home ::)

Anna - online shopping is the best. We don´t have a toystore eighter. I buy my stuff online most of the time. And I do understan your yelling and your "bad" day with the kids. I´ve had a bad week with mine. Lack of sleep, Christmas stress, nagging 8 yo, stubborn 3 yo who found a new friend at daycare that teach her stuff that I hate that she do, etc. Totally get it. Feel like calling and having sympaty meeting???

Nicky - and I thought I was busy... I understand that your body replies with a cold ::)

Denise - hold on .- it´s soon Christmas with some day off (I hope anyway).

Lisa - our fav restaurant isn´t really that much to talk about. It´s one of our local Pizzas. They got the most wonderful food there, eaven tough the restaurant looks like a pizza... No tablecloths, no white linen, etc. But the food they serv could easily fit into a classy restaurant.

Hope you still is out of the hospital TL. I have nothing to compare with - my kids is superhealthy...

Well off to be social with the family - right now at the loo (again...) with the door locked... :o :P

I'm glad you're feeling a bit better Nicky, I hope the stupid cold goes away completely!

Denise, my day got a lot better, thank you! :) Tuva did sleep some *phew* and Alva and Linus managed to play together for several hours. I made them some yummy cakes for fika, as a surprise, and everything feels so much better now. Tomorrow I'm supposed to take us all to Alvas' dance at 10 am and then to Linus' tennis at 1 pm... I better make sure I wake up to a better start tomorrow.

Marie - it's so much more difficult to stay calm and happy if you're all stressed out and tired, isn't it? And it's so easy to make things worse and worse... I hope we'll both have better days soon! :)

I hope things are ok at work tonight Denise. I really feel for you, I would be so tired! Is the restaurant close to where you live, or do you have a long drive too?

I have to admit to just skimming through the posts here.
I've popped in a few times but end up being called away before getting time to finish reading each time.

It's 9.30pm, Hollie is at a birthday disco til 10pm and is bringing her friend back for a sleepover (must go and make the extra bed up) and Louis is in bed now and Ades walking the bed.
Quiet!!

Nic, are you feeling better?
Sorry to hear you aren't feeling good. I know you had a busy week planned.
Did you have a good time with your parents?

Marie, those kind of restuarants are hard to find. It's knowing before you try.

Hollie's house group won the Drama competition this week :)
Louis' footy team won 3-1 today. It was bitterly cold today watching.
Louis won an award this week for best student in French (he was very pleased)
But we've struggled with the bullying this week and I ended up going in again on Friday as it got so bad :(
Funny ol' week.
Just 4.5 more days to battle through.

Off to scrap on the lounge floor now infront of the xfactor final.
