QOTD 10/1/2011 What's on for Saturday?

Just finishing up breakfast here. Both the boys are marching in school bands for the homecoming parade for the University. We are riding our bikes down and finding a spot to watch them. So excited. Its really fun. Who doesn't love a parade right?

I do have to work tonight but it's going to be busy and hopefully, if the Grizzlies win the game today, everyone will be in a good mood.

What are your Saturday plans?

We've just had dinner here.

Earlier today we went to a small second-hand sale with kids' stuff and I bought some clothes for Alva and Tuva. I didn't really know what to look for. I'm not as experienced in these things as some of my friends who are going to many of these events, constantly on the lookout for some bargains. But I'm really happy with what we found.

I also bought a couple of small dolls. I had to hide them from Alva, because they weren't for her. I'm planning to alter them in some way. I don't really know what to do, but I've been wanting to try something like that for quite some time now.

I have been out in the sun grocery shopping at the farmer's market and then I had a nice 1 hour rest on our roof top terrace before I worked on some stuff till late night.
Today my hubs came back in the morning from San Fancisco- and I can't wait to spent the day with him after he is done with his nap
