SPRING CROP 2011 - CHALLENGE 18 - Letting Go

Re: SPRING CROP 2011 - CHALLENGE 18 - Letting Go

I moved to VA and back within the last year and I downsized ALOT. When I was in VA I gave each of my staff, team leads, managers and supervisors something- travel books, mini albums, christmas foldouts...it was awesome that 1) I had enough for everyone and 2) they LOVED them. But I came home with leftovers and they've been sitting in this drawer where I would love to put other "stuff". So, I used this challenge to document the remaining projects and commit to taking them to the women's shelter this weekend to donate.

Thanks for the challenge! It sure reminds one of how easy it is to accumulate stuff.

Cindy, that's awesome! I really like the butterflies!
and donating to a women's shelter is a fantastic idea!
:D
I wonder if you will be the only one to take me up on this challenge. I admit, it's a really hard one!

I'm hoping to do this one today. ;D Weird thing is I know exactly what to scrap about, but I can't find the stupid bag I've been shoveling around for years. I know I haven't thrown it away (how could I possibly???) But now it's gone. GAHHHH!

I never found my bag. Ironic, I must have thrown it away recently but forgotten all about it. I am quite good at getting rid of junk, but I did found my old doll in my search for the bag. I loved her deerly, and I guess that's why I've kept her all these years, despite the poor condition she was in.

Thank you! i took some other scrap stuff that I had been meaning to sell at a garage sale which never happened. It was amazing how grateful they were to have donations and it made me thankful for the life I have - albeit full of ups and downs and disappointments and triumphs - at least I have a home and a husband who loves and honors me. I will put those ladies and their families in my prayers.
