Lisa did you colour your modelling paste with white paint first? Mine's drying quite transparent in places, think I'm going to have to go over it with paint befoe I mist.

Mine was already very white.
I guess you could always go over in gesso or white paint.

I'm not happy with the colors I used for my canvas and since I don't have all my spray inks with me, I didn't have much to choose from. I think it would be totally cool to use the Adirondack Colors Wash sprays, since they are so intense! But I had so much fun with the techniques Lisa and this totally made me want to go on and make another one straight away!

This is pretty small, 6x6 inches.

I used a stencil + gesso to create the harlequin pattern. Love it!

That is lovely, Anna. I went and bought a 12 x 12 canvas to do this. I plan on making something for my daughter's room! Not sure I can get to it today but hopefully later this week!

Mine has been waiting since saturday to do the misting, got completely distracted with family stuff over the weekend. Will hopefully get on with it later this evening.

Wow, I just love this Lis!! I told you that already on the phone ;D, but it's so cool to see the creative process step by step.

I don't associate myself with doing 'arty' things like this, I just enviously admire other people's gorgeous arty creations, but I do actually think I could happily have a go at something like this now I know how to go about it. I really want one on my wall! :D

Thanks for a great class Lisa. I didn't have much luck with my mists, I'm not very experienced with them and only have a few glimmer type ones, so I ending up adding a bit of paint in. I've also done some shading with my india ink pens.

Looks dark on my screen but is quite bright IRL.

Nicky, I never thought of myself as 'arty' till quite recently and am now really into canvases - give it a go!

Wow Fay. I love this :) :) :)

I love how your paints have bled through slightly and how you've used your stamp roller too.
Soooooo cool :)
