Use the templates over and over using the different mists.

It will start to look like this.
Don't worry about waiting for each square to dry before moving on to the next one. I did one after another.

And then you end up like this.
Now you need to let it dry.

Once the canvas is nicely dry you can take your black journal pen and just roughly doodle around each heart a couple of times. Then roughly around each square. This is not meant to look like perfection. It's meant to look rough and sketched.

Modeling paste can be bought in nearly all craft supply or art shops. Here you can even buy it in the kiddies art section of the supermarket ;)

Thanks Lisa.... that red color is superb!!

I have used my blacksoot distressed ink and a small piece of bubblewrap (or you can use your Cocoa Daisy bubble wrap stamp) and gently pressed it onto a few areas. I also did this with an alpha stamp, just the edge of it. Don't go too stamp-happy, you don't want to over do it.
I also dipped a thin paint brush into a brown mist and painted a few corners and square edges so they stood out a little more.

And then you have your finished canvas once it's dry.

If hearts aren't your thing, you could use a different shape. Flower, house, star etc...

I hope you have enjoyed this class.
Feel free to shout out if you have any questions.

OK...you posted before I posted my last one hehe!

I LOVE your piece of art Lisa..... the colors work so well with your other pieces. I am going to finish mine tomorrow....need to let the gesso dry. BTW did you have problems getting the mist to dry ontop of the gesso & modeling paste?

GREAT class Lis..... XX
