CROP CLASS - Hand-Cut Titles Three Ways

Once the title is cut out, apply a layer of glue to the back. My favorite glue for this purpose is ZIG 2-way, mainly because the fine tip is really great for making thin lines and dots of glue.

Then, just place the title on the layout and add the finishing touches. I used tiny alpha stamps to do the rest of the title. That way, one word is highlighted. Actually, this is something I write on my students' papers sometimes! :)

The last title is hand written block letters. I like the sort of messy look of this technique...

Again, grab a layout that needs a title...

Love your layouts!

this technique is very free-styley.
Find a patterned paper, cardstock or other paper that you'd like to use for your title and flip it over to the reverse side.

Write your letters backwards on the reverse side. They end up a little messy, but l like it that way. :)
See how I forgot the "r." It doesn't even matter because they're block letters! I just added it after.

Sometimes I don't cut the insides of my letters out because I kind of like the look of it, but if you want them cut out now would be the best time to do it. I would probably use a craft knife to do it.

Use fine scissors to cut out each letter. I use Cutter Bee scissors, but any fine-tipped scissors should work.

Place the letters on the layout and adjust them until you're happy with the positioning...

Then grab your glue and stick them down.

I added some stitching, journaling strips and embellishments to finish it off.
