To upload to the gallery, follow these steps:
1. From the Galleries drop down menu at the top of the site, choose "My Personal Gallery."
2. On left of page, you'll see a cocoa colored button that says "POST AND IMAGE."
3. It's pretty straight forward after that.
You can size your files up to 512 (KB). Max picture width & height: 800 (pixels). Anything larger will be cut off on the sides.
For our crop activities, and uploading layouts and creative stuff throughout the year, we'd love for you to upload your work to the Gallery.
Sometimes, you may like to use your own personal gallery to upload your own work. Many of the DT members (self included) have our own photobucket account. These are free and you can upload, resize and even edit your photos there for simple web purposes.
Attaching photos to posts
Now that you have your photos uploaded somewhere online - either in our Cocoa Daisy Gallery or Photobucket (or other hosting sites like flickr, picasa etc.), you can attach your photos to posts.
You can do this by:
1. Linking the photo -
Copy the URL where the photo is (Ctrl+C or Command+C) and in your post, click on the
button and paste the URL (Ctrl+V or Command +V) in between the [url] [/ url].2. Pasting a thumbnail of the image -
For the Cocoa Daisy Gallery, click on the Select button next to the [IMG] CODE box and copy it (Ctrl+C or Command+C) and paste this text (Ctrl+V or Command+V) in your post.

3. Pasting the whole image / Images from other galleries-
For the Cocoa Daisy Gallery, click on the Select button next to the DIRECT LINK box and copy it. In your post, click on the
button and paste the link you just copied in betwen the [img] [/ img] in your post. When using Photobucket, you can select the already prepared IMG Code link for your image and paste that directly in your post.
When using other programs, you should be able to right click on the image and copy the image location. In your post, click on the
button and paste the link you just copied in betwen the [img] [/ img] in your post. What about'em Avatars?
Avatars are the little images of ourselves above the usernames.
To prepare these:
1. Go into your photo editing program and make sure your image is small (65pixelsx65pixels)
2. Save for WEB to make it an extra small file size (if you click save as... it won't do enough of the trick..).
3. Upload it to your online gallery-- for this one it NEEDS to be OFF the Cocoa Daisy site (not in the CD gallery..) -- so use a photobucket or other account.....
4. It is ready to be made an avatar..
To add your avatar to your profile:
1. Click on User Control Panel (left top)
2. Click on Profile tab
3. Click on Edit Avatar
4. In the 'Link of Site' box, paste the Direct Link to your image (its URL).
5. Leave the Avatar dimensions blank.
6. Click submit
{NB:: Right now, you may get an error bug message but this is being fixed -- your avatar will load all the same}}
7. Enjoy the new Avatar

Good luck, and hope to see loads of your work in the gallery soon!
Thanks!
Sue.

Sorry to be dumb but I have just done all that stuff[/b][/b] & it still doesn't work. The URL I am trying to put in is from Picasa Web albums because I don't have a Flickr account. It says the URL is invalid. Any ideas? I could e mail it to Rhonda but obviously it's better to do it myself or everyone may do that & drive her craaaaaaaaaaaaaaazeeeeeeeey!!

I am extremly stupid..i´ve found the freakin BUTTON. YAY!!
It should be easier....
