For this challenge I want you to be inspired by a picnic basket, like this one below, and create a layout with fold out flaps
, mimicking the opening of the lid. This way you get so much more space than on a normal layout and it's a great opportunity to add lot's of text. Yep, I want journaling
to be an important part of your layout...!
There are many different ways of creating and attaching the flaps and you can choose any technique that you wish. Here is my example:
I used strips of fabric and my sewing machine to attach my "flaps" to my page.
The photo is only glued onto the right side and the flaps are closed by tucking the photo behind the wooden ticket, which is only glued on it's left side.
Inside... I wrote about everything happening with Tuva right now. At 11 months she is suddenly learning so many new things at once.
