I'm desperately trying to catch up with everything after my weekend away. It's crazy how lost you can feel after 48 hours away from home...

School and daycare are closed today, so I have all 3 kids at home and I think we're going out in the fabulous spring weather for some ice cream now!

yey, today the march kit arrived here in sweden to :-) I havent been able to do something with it yet thow I'm still home with sick kids.... 3 weeks with the flu in the house

But I really liked the emelishments in this kit!

Morning All! I am so glad to be back here. The last month has been whirlwind crazy with all the basketball my husband's team has been playing. His high school girls played well enough to make it to the top 4 teams in the state in our classification. If we had won our last game we would have been in the finals for a chance to be state champs. But we just didn't make it...The girls and my husband were upset of course, but the good thing is that we only lose one player (she graduates this year), we are very young (15,16, & 17 year olds), so we have a great chance to repeat and hopefully get to the finals next year. The girls want it so badly and they work so hard for my husband. We are expecting big things from them.

This is our last week of school before Spring Break. The kids and teachers are all excited to have a week off. We are planning to do very little over the week break, the boys want to go to my parents for a few days so I am sure we will arrange that and I really want to do some spring cleaning and of course some scrapping. Looking forward to this week going quickly so I can have a break....

Happy Monday to everyone!

Been busy at work all day long. Left early, and came home just now. Train situation isn´t the best right now... Wonder what they will blame it on now when the snow is melting away...

I love black asphalt! Went out running last night. Great feeling - NOT! I have lost a lot of strenght over the winter I think. Not been able to skii as I usually do, or walk or nothing. Just going to the gym won´t make it better Well, one thing that is positive - it can only get better.

YAY on the apartment sell Margerethe!

I know what you mean Anna. But it´s quite healthy to let go of the mess too.

Well, off to make homework with a not so interested 8 yo.

Marie, you are my hero. running. seriously? I gave that up about 4 years ago. I am impressed. I do like riding my bike and walking now though and yes for the asphalt, it's time to start walking again without fearing I will fall on the ice and break something.

What a relief on the apartment Margethe. are you excited about your new house?

Olivia we have missed you. I bet you are excited for a break from school.

Anna I am sure you are busy catching up but it sounds like it was worth it. so glad you had fun.

but speaking of productive, okay I had a free afternoon today and guess what? I got nothing done that I thought I would. I did make another layout with my March kit though which I am posting after this. So fun. I guess that is good enough isn't it.

Need to get Jameson. He started lacrosse practice tonight. Hope it's a good season. bye.

Lis, lovely chatting with you just now (she rang and asked if I was free for a few mins, so 40 mins later we hang up )

We had a lovely day on Sunday for Sam's birthday, I am now proud mum to a boy in double figures! Can't believe my 'little' boys are 7 & 10 already.

I managed my first bike ride of the season on Saturday, and first since last Oct. I did 10 miles and it felt REALLY good, I was worried that I would have lost all the fitness I built up last summer (I've done nothing all winter) but there was still some leg strength there, and it was so lovely to be out cycling in the lanes with hints of spring everywhere.

It's parents evening for Sam after dinner, followed by the last choir practice of the season (it's our annual spring concert this Saturday but I'll be partying that night instead ).

Right, off to open my March kit which arrived this morning - you'd think I'd tear it open instantly but I like to choose a moment to savour it .
