Do you care about what kind of car you drive?

Not me. I am pretty practical. I drove an old volvo station wagon for years. loved that thing. It had a third row rear facing seat and I could load lots of people in it. I drove it into the ground. Now I drive a passat wagon. It's a pretty nice car actually but what I like about it is, I can fit all my work equipment in it and it gets good gas milage. My kids don't think it's cool enough. I tell them it's paid for and that is cool enough for me.

not really. we have a passatt and a mini both are up there in mileage, too. . i would love a wagon. I loooooooove the hatch back versus the trunk. i didn't want the van but brain pushed for it. he loved it when we got it, LOL! i remember he said, "i am going to roll into soccer practice and all those moms are going to want a piece of me". so funny. we need the van...we drive to VA 3 times a year and travel a lot so we pack it to the brim.

While I sometimes covet fancier vehicles, once I remember the painful monthly payments I fall back in love with my paid for 10 year old CRV - it has less than 100,000 miles so I'm hoping to have it for another 10 years.

I would like to say 'no' but I refuse to drive Ade's car

When we first got together we both had brand new cars.
I had a peugeot 307cc hardtop convertable. Loved it!!
And Ade had an Audi A3.

As the kids got older we struggled with space and with car finance each month we needed to be more sensible.
I traded in for a Honda HRV which I love. I love being up so high and love all the space.
Ade got a little Renaut Clio. He just does 10miles a day round trip to work and it's so good on gas.
But it's teeny. I hate feeling low down and I don't like it.

I want a safe car, but I don't care about 'coolness' or anything like that. We have a WV Passat, but perhaps we need something bigger soon, because it would be nice to be able to fit a couple of the kids' friends for example.

Safe here too...I drive a Subaru wagon.

I don't really, but I do like having trust that I trust, which usually means something on the newer end. I currently drive a 2009 Envoy which we bought new.

I drive a 2002 Infiniti QX4. I love it and plan to drive it until the wheels fall off, mainly because it is PAID FOR!!!



BTW that is not my white picket fence and my vehicle is not that clean...it's a photo I found of one that is like mine. LOL

We don;t have car- it's public transportation for us always. And an occasional rental. But I would imagine that I don't care.
