The beauty of urban street art is that sometimes it's the only color around the buildings and asphalt. One of my favorite places to take my boys when we lived in CT. was a "graffiti garden" in New Haven. It was always so inspiring with it's bright and colorful art form and right there in the heart of a major city. Every few months artists would paint over the creations with something new.
One of the coolest things I noticed is how weeds, grass and even little flowers would sometimes grow up along the walls and cracks. Green things trying to eek an existence out of nothing. It's so hopeful and I really enjoy the juxtaposition of the urban/modern with something soft and growing.

So ladies for this challenge I want to see that juxtaposition I was talking about. Urban funk with soft and pretty. What's prettier than flowers?
You will need:
some misting or painting with stencils (or not) that gives you an urban art/graffiti feel. I did a class for the fall crop that you could refer to for ideas viewtopic.php?f=32&t=7952
and some flowers. Paper, Prima, Chipboard, whatever. You have the stash, use them!
