I, too, really loved the idea of using strips. I took some inspiration from a Jelly Roll quilt pattern that I have been wanting to do and came up with this background. We have been doing a lot of playing outside this spring! :)

Wow, wow, WOW!!! What wonderful layouts you all have created! A ton of inspiration to be had here! I love the great variety of takes on the challenge. I was planning on flipping through all the Challenges while (not) cooking dinner, but I need to let all these images from #1 absorb into my brain before I move on!

i went with journaling as the focus but lost focus with the spring embellishments :) This is a Spring photo we just took at the Phillies game a few weeks ago ;)

I made my own background by punching clouds and using them as strips for the background playing with the possitive and the negative of the punch! I used my Cocoa April kit

I loved this challenge and wanted to try making my own background. So I used Glimmer Glam to paint a large square and then punched stars to fill it in. I like how it turned out.
