I so badly wish my daughter had let me participate at 9am but she's finally down for her nap now. Everything about this page is absolute perfection- the french knots, the COLOR, the handcut leaves- you have a new instant fan here- thank you for giving my so many ideas- I'm sitting at my scrap desk with a "can't wait" feeling I've missed for a while now. :)
Flying by the seat of my pants and loving every minute!

Beautiful layout. Thanks for the class - it is truly inspiring. I'm just wondering how long it took you to complete it? I have used running stiches on a double page layout and it took me forever...well, longer than I wanted... to complete it. This is such a fun challenge. I'm going to try it. Thank goodness we have a week to complete these. :)

Not long at all because the main flower has 'faux' stitching. hehe! Trade secret #101. Faux it if you can. The other stitching was quick to do. :)

My post got lost in the information highway, just wanted to thank you for all the tips and great step-by-step! You use thise vibrant colours so brilliantly, I'm not able to do really bright colours - but I sure will try after seeing you build this layout! Thank you! :)

Kim:
I have been away a while so am like a new person here. I do not have the Nov kit and am wondering if I can use whatever I have that will complete this class.
I love to do embroidery on paper and it has been a while since I have done that too, so will be working on this project.
I couldn't start when you began class as I was making Saturday breakfast, now I hope to get some scrapping done.
Fantastic class and layout.

Kim just read the rules for the classes and did see the post that said did not have to have a cocoa daisy kit to play.
However the rules said the classes would be left up but did not say for how long, so I guess I better get busy on this.....
