FALL CROP 2011: CHALLENGE 3 - CREATIVE LABELS

For my layout I used black cardstock, which I don't use a whole lot, but the color inspiration for the layout came from the little kraft tan Maya Road labels in the latest kit. The splatters on the background were done with Heirloom Gold Perfect Pearls and all the labels sewn across the top are sticking up about an inch to and inch and a half above the black cardstock. I am tempted to cut them off even with the top of the cardstock so it will fit nicer into my album, but right now I kinda like how they look.

Been saving all these clothing labels for quite sometime now... always thought about doing a layout with them... thanks for getting me motivated to do this layout!

I had a lot of fun with this challenge! Used last years Starbucks/Panera Bread cups for the holiday season - love it when they first come out!!
