NOTE:
If you are going to make a mini like mine, do not stitch your backs & fronts of each page together until they are all finished. It is one of the last things to do before inserting eyelets. Also when planning your pages, do not place things too close to the edges or near the eyelet positions, otherwise you will find stitching the pages togehter difficult
Instructions:
Well here is what the cover looks like. I used a combo of lace, felt & a variety of hand made flowers. The new range of fabric & felt alphas, brads & die cut embellishments from American crafts were perfect for my project. ( It sure helps having a ton of them in my stash
)

Now before you get started, make sure you have your preshrunk your squares of canvas, with the stabilizing fuse ironed flat on the back of each.
If you have done this, you can now spray mist your squares, using chipboard embellishments for masking as you go along. I found placing the chipboard shapes loosely on the surface then spraying worked just fine. Afterward tweezers help to carefully lift them off so they don't get bumped & smudge the wet ink.

Once they are completely dry you can start decorating. My focus was on life lessons for the theme of my journaling.( Take a look in the top left corner, you will notice I tried my hand at fabric cutouts, it let the floral print peep through.) Quite nifty actually.
You also might find , unless your adhesive is very strong, that things might pop off. I solved this problem by stitching almost everything onto the pages with my sewing machine, including the chipboard.

For page no #3 I decided not to use any photos, but focused rather on what I wanted to say. The little sun was SO simple to do & hardly any stitching was needed. For the fabric border I used my serrated scissors to cut the strips, this was the fraying in minimized.

Again the AC flair buttons & glitter brads worked perfectly here.

(see the green mat I used for the photos on page no #4...it is the Prima packaging.)
The next page was such fun to do. I cut fabric shapes in each of my fabric prints & stitched them onto their canvas page with a coordinating button. My journaling too was stitched on. LOVING my sewing machine right now hehe!

I even tried my hand at making some different fabric flower shapes....see the one I used on page 6. Well here is a tutorial for you on how to do it.
LOVING all this sewing....lalala!

This my back cover.....simple with a little 'hand made with love stamp'. Talking about stamping...it you have the correct ink you can stamp real easily onto these canvas pages too. I used Stazon here, but I need to replenish it's ink...so that is the extent of my stamping effort in this album.

Now comes the tricky part.
Match up your pages in the order they need to be & pin their backs & fronts together. Now, carefully & slowly stitch the pages...do a row of stitching on the edge of the upper page & the lower page for neatness.
Once you have done this, you can mark & set your eyelets in place & attach them ready for your jump rings.
Once your jump rings are in, cut & tie a bow from fabric or ribbon to finish....and....
Voila!! all done!
I really hope you enjoyed this & found it helpful.
I look forward to seeing your own fabric creation!
Happy sewing!!!!
