Here's my take on the red ad. I was trying for a cloud of photos above and below the line. (I can't get it to not cut off the right side--I only see one set of [img] thingys.)

I love your Route 66 layout!
What I do to get the images the correct size is open them in microsoft paint, then use the stretch/skew function to reduce the image until it looks like the right size. The size it appears in paint will be the size it shows up as on the message board. I usually start by reducing both horizontal and vertical by 50%, then adjust as needed. Then I save it as a new file.

I was inspired by the drippings of paint on the first add and did a small thing myself down at the left corner!! Then I tried lots and lots of layering from Ronda's class and used sooooo many left overs!!
