CROP CLASS - Hand-Cut Titles Three Ways

Re: CROP CLASS - Hand-Cut Titles Three Ways

Postby anja_wade » Sat Apr 25, 2009 12:06 pm

So, those are my three techniques.
Thanks everyone for the kind words and for trying it out!
I'll check this thread for any questions that come up and please post layouts to the gallery and link them up here!
I have a huge roll of contact paper, so I'm going to put together a little prize package with that and some other goodies.
Anyone who links up a layout featuring a technique from this class will be entered to win.
The deadline to post layouts is May 1st and I'll do the random drawing on May 2nd (National Scrapbooking Day)!

Anja, this was really neat to learn! I agree, I like the personal handmade touch it adds. I have loved using rubons, stamps, & stickers to make title words, but lately I've been wanting alpha dies & frustrated I don't have any. Now knowing this, nothing will stop me, not even missing 1 letter sticker! Thank you!
The tips are great, I'd never know to start cutting at the most intricate side. I know the Fiskars swivel fingertip knife is going to make this even easier. And contact paper?!? Wow, you have opened up a newworld for me!!

Wow! - loved the techniques you shared here. Will definitely give them a go!

Plus, I now have a use for the thick end of my journalling pens, which I basically think I've never used! ;D

Thanks for this great class! I have always tried this but never have been able to make it work - your tips really helped. I used my title on my layout for Challenge #3 journaling (music list).
