I did a quick and simple layout this afternoon based on Danielle's sketch (and Christine's painted circle tutorial), and I wanted to share it. Of course, the original photos in the layout are iphone photos that were a little blurry to begin with, but I didn't take the time to get the sharpest photo of the layout. Anyway, just in a sharing mood tonight.

Love Danielle's layout !!! This is my lift and I've used the same Cosmo green paper, also journaled at the bottom of the layout. Thanks for looking !

I think I've followed the sketch... sort of...
Those particular thickers were a pain to work with... very "bendy" (particularly the letter "u"!).

Here is my take on Danielle's sketch.

This is my daughter Kristina who moved to New Zealand a couple of weeks ago.

I used KI Memories lace paper (a piece that I cut from it) as a stencil and inked it with Distress Ink
using the inking tool. I also added 3 pieces of wire as leaves on the lower left of the layout as well as some
lace that I had colored a couple of days ago with glimmer mist for another project. And finally some rubon
to frame.



The photo is really bad, the background paper is WHITE in real life! I'll try to take a better picture tomorrow.

the gallery and put this new one there.

Here's my take on the sketch....I had such fun with it, thanks Danielle!!

I misted the base page using the Scenic Route die cut. Then happily layered, stitched & faffed until I was done! The interesting papers & rub-on, definitely led themselves to be grunged out a bit...I know it is only a hint of grunging ....& then there is REAL grunging, but I went as far as I was comfortable hehe! You know me, I am a grunge scaredy-cat!
I then used my 12x12 typewriter to journal around the edges....I was silly though...I journaled once everything was stuck down....look how wonky it is
