Hehe Denise... yep, as long as we don't forget any of the kids when we go on vacation, I guess we'll be ok. :D

Tonight is the school party with Linus' class that was cancelled last week due to the heavy raining. The weather is better today, luckily! Then tomorrow is the last day of school. The kids will sing and we'll have fika, etc... I think it's only between 8-10 am, and then we'll go home and pack. Since I'll be gone for the wedding most of the day on Saturday, we'll try to do most of the packing tomorrow and then we're leaving on Sunday morning.

Seriously, I just got this very strange feeling. I remember the last day of school last year so well. Tuva ws so little and it was the first time we took her out for a bit longer. It feels like yesterday, or at least like last week or something like that! It's so vivid and alive in my memory! I can't believe another year has gone by!!!! :o

I do hope the weather bucks up for you.
It feels so cold. about 50f. and cloudy and drizzly :( :( :(
Remember to take my number with you :)

Lisa, TODAY I am getting excited. The weather looks to be in the high 50s and a couple of days of rain in Wales, but there is some sunny/partly cloudy in the forecast. We like grey and rainy, we lived in Seattle for a while. I'm marking things off the to do list like a demon today, it's such a good feeling!

I've got your number :)

I do not have a vacation this year. It's hard to do when you work for yourself. It's not just what it costs to have one, it's the cost of the time off. If I don't work I don't get paid. It seems horrible but really I don't know any different. I will maybe take a long weekend some time this summer. I have been really trying hard to get more clients. I have been using spare time ;) to stop into businesses and introduce myself, offer my services and leave a card. I haven't gotten anything yet but I will. More work will eventually mean less work when I can hire someone. Then I might take a vacation!

I know what you mean Denise.
I can thankfully take work with me to a degree.
When we go away I end up working everyday.
Just responding to clients emails, general enquiries etc through the website take a couple of hours each day.
It doesn't sound too much but I do feel like I never get a break.
Being away also takes it's toll on the business. I never get as many orders when I'm away.

Emily when do you leave?

Anna, do you not think, the bigger the car, the more stuff you take?
That's the case with us anyway :)
Have a lovely time away.
We have the Legoland Windsor less than 30mins away.
It's the first year we don't have an annual pass since Louis was 3 :(
We have alot of the big parks and attractions nearby so get a 1 pass for the whole lot, but decided as we were going to Florida this year it would be a cut back not to get a pass this year.
Plus as Hollie is now 12 she is considered an Adult and we can't get a family pass so it's jumped up in price a whole lot.

Marie, you sound busy.
Good luck with all those birthdays, sounds crazy.

Hey TL.
Are the boys back?
We didn't have a street party either. Everyone was away :) Just us home.
Ade and I joked about sitting out the front on our own with the flag and a cuppa.

The rain and wind is terrible here.
I couldn't sleep last night I get really scared.
All the big trees down the side and front really scare me.

Lisa we have had terrible rain and wind here as well. Thankfully yesterday was finally a sunny day. But now rain and clouds again. Blech. I need the sun!!!!!!!!

Keeping my fingers crossed Lisa, Bill might have some carpentry work this summer which means another full time salary in our house for at least 2 months. That means money in the bank and maybe some time off for me!! I am cautiously optimistic. :) We wont travel any where but just puttering about will be lovely.

Jameson graduated from middle school last night. He looked so cute but wouldn't pose for any photos. Conner has just a half day today and then he is done. They are soo happy! Can't believe I have 2 teenagers in high school. How did that happen?

Emily and Anna, I hope you have very safe travels!!

Hi All,

I am trying to find a beautiful layout that was posted in Studio Calico's Gallery. It was a wonderful use of the Cocoa Daisy hexagon stamp. I believe the poster was a Cocoa Daisy DT member but I can't find the layout. Any help finding the layout would be appreciated. Thank and Happy Friday!

Just flying by to share a funny with you! I just posted a photo to Instagram of Ethan. Both boys got haircuts Tuesday. Ethan decided to cut his own hair last night TO THE SCALP!!! It took me 5 years to cut off his curls and get a cute little boy haircut. To correct the scalping he gave himself the barber had to completely buzz him :(. Luckily he is a boy and I know it will grow back. But I still can't believe he did that to himself. Geez!

Not sure how to post photos from my phone, so check it out on instagram: oliviasmartin or on Facebook: Olivia McCullough Martin.

Morning.

Just a quick visit.
Yes the boys are back with me Lisa. Having a bit of hassle at the moment with Harley, which under the circumstances is understandable. I'm sure it all blow over soon.

The boys are back to school and nursery tomorrow, it seems I've hardly spent any time with them. So, I'm really looking forward to the Summer Holidays.

Hope the kits start arriving this week. Something to look forward to.

Hope all is well with everyone.
