Today is Linus' birthday and we had a lovely morning....

The snow from yesterday didn't stay (except just a little, here and there) but it's cold this morning and I couldn't find my hat or my gloves, but was freezing so much while dropping L and A off...

At least the sun is shining!

Life is crazy again at the mo.....we've started our kitchen project, over the weekend we've taken all the kitchen out, gutted the kitchen and dining room and knocked the wall down, eeeek!! It is a HUGE mess, the entire contents of both rooms is spread all over the house , but it's all for a great reason, I can't wait to get my new kitchen .

Plus my playgroup is moving premises, so I was snowed under with moving toys and equipment last week (instead of prepping for our own house project, oops). And it's the school Easter holidays, hurrah!, so the boys are home. Luckily Max has gone to a friend for the day, and I'm just about to drop Sam off for a few hours with his friend. So they can escape the chaos for a bit!

I went on a scrappy day out on Saturday - the most I've scrapped in 4 months! A lady who works with Paul is a scrapper/card-maker, we've been friends on Facebook for a while but never met in person. She invited me on a crop her friend organises twice a year, and I had such a lovely time . Scrapping, chatting and eating all day, only 2.5 pages done but very happy with those. Will share later .

Nicky so glad to hear about your scrappy day. 2 layouts finished sounds about right for me as well. I miss doing that so much.

The boys have Spring Break this week but I can't take time off. We just had to pay for Jameson's lacrosse season. OMG. I love working for myself but unfortunately since Bill and I both are self employed we don't get paid vacations. I might be able to take a week off this summer, we will see! Still, it is a bit of a break because we can sleep in and the pace this week is slower without homework, practice,etc.

Jameson has a friend who's family invited him to Vegas for the week. We said no at first because of the money but the family offered to pay for his ticket. I felt odd about saying yes and then Bill came up with a solution. This family has a huge yard and there is always lots of work to do weeding, mowing and pruning bushes, etc. so Jameson is going to do yard work for them to pay off his plane ticket. The family thought that was a great idea. He left on Saturday and has called twice a day since then to tell us all how much fun he is having. Conner is a bit bummed but we will try to do something fun this week with him. Nothing compared to Vegas though!

Coffee is lovely this am. Hope you guys are doing well. I have a layout on my desk that I have been fiddling with all weekend. Maybe tonight I will finish it.

How wonderful with your scrappy day Nicky!!! It's sooo nice to get away and scrap like that, and 2,5 pages is great. The chatting and relaxing and just having a good time is very important too!

I am sooo tired! I don't know if it's all the birthday excitement... or if I'm coming down with something... but I've been really tired the last few evenings. I want to scrap, paint and journal... not go sleep early!

Wow Denise, Vegas! That sounds like a bit of a treat for him, glad he's enjoying it. Great solution to the cost. Poor Conner, but I'm sure his time will come .

There's a fine layer of dust on everything now, Paul covered over the doors but it still gets through! The boys helped knock a bit of wall down, they totally loved it! I have photos of that too, of course .

Hello everyone! Sunny but cold in NY today...spring is tryyying to come!

Not much exciting here - getting ready to go see family for the Easter Holiday then the following weekend we are back to Boston to cheer my daughter on in the Boston Marathon! Should be fun!

I actually scrapped AND posted I get lazy when it comes to the posting part!

looks like all of you ladies are having a great week so far!!! I've been crazy busy at work for the last two weeks and have lost a little computer time so been kind of scarce around here. Looks like things are starting to slow down though, so I'm looking forward to that.

We're escaping the house mess today and going into Norwich, the boys want to go to the library and we're meeting Paul for lunch, then we're off to the cinema to see The Pirates, meant to be very funny, I can't wait!

It's persisting down with rain here today , absolutely pouring and meant to be all day. I had planned a bike ride with a friend later, but I think I'm going to wimp out!

Not been on here for a few days. The baking bug has taken hold scrapping has been put on hold for the moment even though I'm having withdrawals

The boys are on Easter holidays at the moment so my time is taken up with them.
I seem to be clashing with them at the moment. Whatever I do doesn't seem to be right in their eyes. Ooh well.....

Nicky I just can;t wait to see how it will turn!!

Hi there girls!! this weekend I went to a friends house in a near by island called Aigina (just an hour away) with some girlfriends for cropping. I had only my March Cocoa kit and made 7 layouts and I still have products for so much more!!!!!!!!! I got lots of girls psyched up for Cocoa Daisy!!!

I have just uploaded my layouts!! I am very excited!! And I can;t wait for the spring crop, i have promised myself not to miss it!!

I've been painting a little today, but I honestly doesn't get much done these days. I'm spending lots of time with Tuva of course, and that's sooo wonderful. She is growing so much. She still doesn't crawl, though. Linus, Alva and Tuva were all born a bit early and both L and A were a bit late with walking and stuff... so I am not at all worried. She is so cute, trying to move forward but mostly going backwards instead...

Linus has his last day of school tomorrow, and then next week is Easter break. J will be at home Tues-Wed (and Monday is holiday), and that'll be nice! I'm hoping for the weather to improve, but it seems like next week will be pretty cold too...
