Finally we two nights of work are over. We´ve had a nice time with SLEEPING patients. That is rather rare, that you say good night at 10 and then they sleep until 6 when we wake them up to do tests etc (they can go back to sleep after that of course...).

The theater sounds lovely Anna! I really miss Stockholm, haven´t been there since October I think. Very much spring here as well right now. Yesterday it was +10 and the water pours from the windows. But since we have had so much snow this year, more than in over 10 years I think the melting will take some time. I did notice a small black piece of asphalt on our driveway when I got home this morning though.

Mable - you made my day today! I was thinking on that do for dinner and there you just spelled it out for me - homemade burgers it will be!

I do really want a I phone too! But I can´t afford one right now. Not even if I pay it of every month. I´ve been looking on other smart phones but they are so BIG! I´ve got tiny hands and they feels like a computer in in sinze for me.

Sven´s skiing the Vasalopp on Sunday (hopefully - last year he didn´t even make it to the start if you remeber me telling), so I´m going to take the kids to my parents and stay for the Weekend. Might bring some scrappy stuff...

We have a real sick-house or how you say in english, everyone is really sick whit really high fever and ofcourse it's my husband that I's feeling worst ;-) he is lying in the sofa and complaining about how he is feeling....

Have I mentioned I'm on a weight-loss kick at the mo? I joined the Slimming World club a few weeks ago, I'm following their eating plan and I've lost 8lbs so far. And that's without any exercise, which I'm rubbish at . I'm chuffed to bits, although I haven't really noticed it with my clothes much yet, I think I've lost a little from all over, when I really only want to lose it from the middle part . It might get tricky over the next couple of weeks, with lots of birthday party food to tempt me, but I'll battle through that and work harder afterwards, if I need to.

Now I have put them all in different beds and 3 out of 4 is sleeping! only the 3yearold is awake.

I might do as you say later Mison, pour him a whiskey ( he loves whiskey) and I have been doing the laundry alot :-D but I have actually been doing the laudry, I rather do that then running around with tissues and checking their fever every second.

Well now I have a little time for myself and I will spend it on the computer looking at all the inspiration in the gallery and dream about getting som time to scrap.

Hanna, I never minded sick children but sick husband? ugh. I try to be sweet but really, why do they always act sicker than anyone? I think it bugs me because as sick as I have been, rarely have I ever stayed in bed all day. Moms just can't I guess.

Marie, I always laugh when you talk about locking yourself in the bathroom with the computer!

Anna and Sharmaine I have been doing a lot of reading and not much writing here either. I just feel like my life is so boring right now. same old same old everyday......
plus, I have been sort of obsessed with the politics here in the states. I don't want to make anyone angry but I am so upset about all these attempts to control womens health in the name of protecting religious freedom. It's crap and it pisses me off!

now I have to pick my middlechild down from the counter were she, naked, are helping her littlebrother to some snacks...

I've just been on and off today, reading the odd bit and I'm gone again.

Had a poorly Euan home from nursery again today . There's so many bugs going around at the moment, he just gets over one and starts with another.

As for the iPhone Denise. I'm quite happy with my basic Blackberry but Martin had other ideas thinking I should upgrade to a 'decent' phone as he calls it . If he's willing to pay for it still, then I'm happy to have it

I have Harley's friend from school here for dinner tonight, so I've been busy making Hamburgers etc and getting very mucky . We do have delicious cupcakes for pudding aswell. Think my diet will start on Monday

It's Saturday morning ladies and I am up with a cup of coffee and trying to rally! worked last night. It was not super busy but still a long night. actually wish it had been busier!

Lot's going on today. Need to drive Conner up to his friends house for the weekend and then I have some packing today for a client who is selling their house. do not want to do that. not on a saturday.

I really just want to hang out here in my little room and make things.

It's Sunday night here and I am sick
I knew it was going to happen, after the ick week. And the coldsore that appeared on Monday was probably the biggest warning sign.
I've got the flu. Croaky voice, full head, no snot, no FA-LEM (who ever decided to spell it with a ph was sooo wrong to use a g as well. My way is so much better!), and sooooo soooo tired. I've never had a day on the couch/in bed. Today that changed It certainly has knocked me for a six (do non-cricket playing countires use that term???).

I knew I should have hibernated.
Hoping the new week is kinder than last

Hello... I'm so tired after an eventful weekend. The circus/theatre yesterday was amazing! I really loved it! There were horses and dogs and humans... dancing and music and it was all sort of poetical and magical.

I had some stomach pains Friday-Saturday and ended up in the hospital yesterday evening. It turned out to be an attack of biliary colic and I'll be having a surgery in a month or two. I'm feeling ok now, and I got to go home this afternoon, but I'm really tired and scared of the pain. I hope I'll be able to avoid the pain by eating better, while waiting for the surgery.

In the middle of all this I'm so happy that I did get to see the circus before it got too bad.

I'm also very grateful for my family. Being away from them like this, and having that scary pain, was a reminder of what is important.

Another interesting thing was that Tuva slept all night, without me. She slept pretty close to her dad and she was sleeping a bit restlessly, but J never had to lift her up.

I'm so sorry you're sick Sharmaine. The flu hit very hard here this year, is it the same in Australia? We haven't had it (yet) and I'm actually quite scared of it. One of the guys in J's tennis group had a very high fever for 2 weeks. He wasn't even aware of how many days had gone by, when he got better. He thought he had missed 3-4 days of work, when it was actually 10. And kids having high fevers is so worrying too. I really don't want that in our house!

Here the flu is hitting us really bad, It has now developed into a earinfektion for my oldest girl and she and her father still has a really high fever.

My little guy hade the flu first (about 2 weeks ago he started to get sick) So now he has started to eat propper again. We feed the kids icecreeam, water and candy just to get them to eat anything at all.

We had a little party for Max today, it's his 7th birthday on Tuesday. We took him and a couple of friends to see the Muppets film, we all loved it! Then it was back here for a party lunch and an hour of noisy madness that only boys can achieve . I was pretty pleased with the cake I made, he asked for a guitar in honour of his new love of the Guitar Hero Wii game:
