CHA!

Come here to talk about all things scrapbooking!

CHA!

Postby anja_wade » Sun Jul 22, 2007 10:00 pm

I just got back and I had a great time! It was so much fun meeting Tricia (and following her around like a puppy!).

Friday we spent the entire day walking the floor looking at stuff and getting catalogs (and we didn't manage to see everything). My favorites were KI's entire new release, the new Hambly, some of Elsie's stuff, Maya Road, Prima...there was so much more that I loved but I'm forgetting right now. And I totally forgot to take pictures. Duh. But let me tell you, Tricia picked out some really cool surprises for October and November - you guys are going to love it! I know I can't wait to get those kits. And the guest designers are amazing!

It was great to meet some of the DT members - Kim, Lisa, Mou, Tara, Michelle - and a few other people that I had only known from online until now.

I probably won't make it to winter CHA but I can't wait for next summer!

Bummer.  I really hoped I'd run in to you and Tricia, Anja.

My absolute complete and total favorite from the show was October Afternoon.  GORGEOUS papers and fun stamps.

Am also totally mad about the American Crafts, the lace paper from KI, the see-through albums and journaling tags from Maya Road, the Noteworthy line from Making Memories, and (of course!) the Hambly.

It was so nice to meet you Anja. Having lunch with you, Kim and Tricia was really nice. I wish I could have chatted more with Tara. Sat. was a hectic day for me and as you know I was at the point of no return on hunger.

Glad you all made it home safe and sound.
Hugs,
Lisa P.

Sounds like a blast. So happy to hear you ladies had fun. Sorry I couldn't make for CHA, but I am going to Memory Trends (if it is still a go) and most likely to CHA in January. D

I forgot that I download to my computer the photos of the things that I liked.
I guess I could share those with all of you!   :)
