Included in your stay is a guided tour of the nearby island of Delos. The Delos, the mythical birthplace of Apollo and Artemis, is listed by Unesco as one of the most important cultural and historical sites in the world. It was a sacred island for Ancient Greeks and one of the holiest places in the Aegean Sea. Because of it’s renown, people from around the ancient world came and settled on the island building a thriving commercial harbor and town, with distinct residential areas, temples, and a large open air amphitheater.
We will travel together to Delos with a our guides for an approximately 3 hour tour of the Hellenistic ruins dating back to 300 B.C. You’ll have more time to explore the ruins on your own and wander through the remains of houses, temples and businesses, climb Mount Kynthos for spectacular panoramic views, visit the museum or rest at the island’s coffee shop all while putting your newly acquired photo skills to work!
Lunch will be provided.
Several additional tours and events will also be available to attendees (additional fees apply).
Cocoa Daisy Destinations has worked with the hotel staff to ensure an exciting culinary experience is part of your scrapbooking getaway.
Each evening will begin with a complementary cocktail reception in the hotel restaurant, as well as a nightly buffet dinner. The Kouros restaurant is well-known for it’s fresh local cuisine, as well as international options. The restaurant also features an extensive local and international wine list, allowing guests to explore the wines of the Greek isles, or share something from closer to home.
Each morning will feature a complementary breakfast buffet, where you can catch up on the previous days events and plan your days together with other guests.
Each small class group of approximately 25 people will attend one complementary dinner party hosted by all three of our celebrity instructors. These dinners will be hosted off the hotel grounds at nearby restaurants. We have hand selected the three restaurants we will be dining at: Avra, Fato a Mano and BluBlu. Each serves up a delicious variety of local favorites and international cuisine with outstanding service and an exquisite ambience. Each meal will include a wide variety of appetizers, a salad, main course and dessert (several options will be given for each), wine, beer and beverages. Each will be a unique opportunity to meet and enjoy the company of Ali, Jenni and Karen and new and old friends!

The island is part of the Cyclades Island of Greece and it lies between the islands of Tinos, Syros, Paros and Naxos. Mykonos is known as the most cosmopolitan of the Greece isles and is frequented by many famous celebrities. It has also the traditional Cycladic architecture with picturesque whitewashed cubic houses with flat roofs, wooden colored doors and windows and flowered balconies is found throughout the island. But the smooth, asymmetrical shape of their corners give the houses, churches and buildings of Mykonos make the islands architecture distinct from other islands. This whitewashed yet colorful buildings and the multitude of paved narrow passageways add to the distinct charm of the main town of Mykonos, Hora. The small quarter of “Little Venice” is the exception and here all the houses are built in the Venetian style. Bright wooden porches and balconies hug the seafront and create a unique and picture postcard perfect setting.
Just on the outskirt of the town, on the bay stand the row of traditional windmills. The hill they stand on provide a beautiful vista for picture taking and the windmills themselves make for a unforgettable photo opportunity.
The island is also well known for it's long, sandy, beautiful beaches, is hundreds of small chapels and churches, its spectacular mountainous landscape, its clear, turquoise waters and quaint villages.
