To create the ultimate scrapbookers getaway, we've recruited three of the top names in the industry, Ali Edwards, Karen Russell, and Jenni Bowlin. You'll find Ali and Jenni's styles as unique and refreshing as they are complementary. Karen will bring all of her unmatched camera artistry and technical savvy to bring your photography skills to new heights. Our three primary instructors will be backed by some of your favorite Daisy Divas. It's a lineup that virtually guarantees a giant leap in your skills and techniques, whatever level of experience you bring.
AliAn advocate for not making things more complicated than they need to be & embracing imperfection, Ali shares cool concepts, design, and project ideas in her idea books: A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking, A Designer's Eye for Scrapbooking with Patterned Paper, Life Artist, and Sharing Your Story: Recording Life's Details with Mini Books. You can also find Ali's monthly column in Creating Keepsakes magazine: Studio A (see the archives here). "I started scrapbooking in 2002 as a way to organize all the stuff I collected after the birth of my son. It has become so much more than an organizational process for me - it has let me find my own personal passion and voice. It has become all about the process of capturing life and creating art." Read a post about why she scrapbooks here. Ali licenses her designs with two leading creative companies to create products for both digital scrapbookers (Designer Digitals) and paper crafters (stamps for Technique Tuesday). Ali lives in Eugene, Oregon. She enjoys travel, reading, politics from the sidelines, and spending time with her husband and two children. Class Title: |

Ronda PalazzariRonda has been into art since she was a child and has always loved it. In high school she was editor of her high school paper and layouts were her specialty. When her daughter came along, scrapbooking seemed like a natural to Ronda. She got to play with paper, write stories, and capture memories. She loves being able to incorporate all her art loves into scrapbooking. Some of her proudest scrapbook moments are starting the One Little Word Scrapbook challenge blog, being named a Memory Makers Master, becoming part of the Fancy Pants, Purple Onion, and Cocoa Daisy Design Teams. Ronda has also been published in various magazines, Memory Makers, Scrapbook Trends, Artful Blogger as well as some idea books. Ronda calls her style “Uptown Antique Brie” -- a little class, a little vintage, and a lot of good cheese. She loves the new, flashy stuff but has an appreciation for vintage items. She loves to push the edge of products and use them in unconventional ways. She loves using bold colors and combining colors that surprise people. |

Christine DrumhellerChristine has been scrapbooking for 9 years and has been published in several magazine and idea books. She was a Making Memories Master 2009 and was a Creating Keepsakes HOF honorable mention two years in a row. She is currently a member of the Cocoa Daisy Design Team. Christine's background is in fine arts and graphic design, this comes through in her scrapbooking style: bold and graphic with a touch of whimsy. She loves to have all the elements on a layout support it's theme in some way, and to draw people in and have them take a minute to discover all the little details. Being artistic is a driving force in Christine's life – she does something creative everyday, whether it's gardening, decorating, sewing or scrapbooking! |
