Tips and Tricks {stamping}

I don’t know about you, but when I use black ink with my stamps I want that black to be as thick and heavy as it can. I want it to look like letterpress! However,  your ink coverage doesn’t always have to be solid for a great end result.

On this card here, using the fabulous little potty people stamp in the Sept. kit, I stamped once in pink and blue and then again in a very lightly covered black. The card is soft and muted, so I wanted the stamps to generate the same overall tone.

Fight that urge to get great coverage every time with your stamping. Experiment with paint, inks and two-tone stamping. You may be surprised that you love the end result.
