Good Morning and happy Wednesday to you!
I don’t know about you all, but I have really been loving all of the stencils Christine has been bringing into the Daisy Boutique. My only problem, as with all scrapbooking stuff, how do I store these things? I was just keeping them in my mist box, but that was kind of messy and they were getting all tangled and I was forgetting which ones I had when planning layouts.
So, I came up with a plan and, that’s my little tip for the day.
I had a bunch of 12×12 page protectors that I wasn’t going to use. (They came from an old Making Memories 12×12 3 ring binder i found at Tuesday Morning for super cheap. I wanted the binder but the page protectors were not quite right)
I started by filling the page protectors with colored cardstock from my Cocoa Daisy stash. (I’m more of a patterned paper girl for layouts.) the stencils are easier to see with some color behind them and, I just think it’s prettier this way.
Next, I needed some rings and a cover.
I don’t know about you but, I always save the thin chipboard pieces that come with my online scrapbook stash orders. I pulled out some patterned paper from, again, my Cocoa Daisy stash and got to work making my covers.
I reinforced the binding with some washi tape and was good to go. I love my new stencil storage book. It’s pretty to look at and a lot more organized.
And, I can keep adding to my book with more page protectors and bigger rings as my stencil collection grows.
Now, I want to see how you store your stencils and masks. Post a link in the comments and post some pics in the Cocoa Daisy gallery. I can’t wait to see.
Have an awesome day!
