Teaming Up with…

…….. This month Anna, Alissa, Jody, Christine, Kim, MandyK, Stephanie and myself have all got together to show you how we have used this rather cool ‘Placemat’ from Jillibean Soup which you will find in this months main kit ‘forecast‘.

The ‘placemat’ consists of 12 little polaroid style frames that can either be used together or separated to use individually. Exciting!

We will now show you some fun ideas on how we have used our’s. Let’s start with some LO’s.

Anna, took the one frame and covered the entire frame with versamark ink and then heat embossed it with Zing silver glitter embossing powder.

Here’s a close up to see how stunning this frame now looks.

Jody also used a sigle frame and added it to an embellishment cluster on her page.

Stephanie kept her LO quite simple and used 4 frames together.

MandyK used just the one on her’s. Notice how she stuck some patterned paper behind the word ‘hello’ on the frame?

Kim’s gentle LO is such a contrast to MandyK’s bright page. Kim used a single frame to add to her layers.

Christine, like Stephanie also used 4 frames but laid out across the page. I love how these really do look like polaroid photos.

Now on to a couple of projects. I got really excited when I saw this placemat and wanted to used it on a project rather than a LO. I bought a large enough wooden frame and used it to show some of our favourite photos from our 2012 Orlando holiday.

I used Maya Mists to create my background first and then added the frames treating this project like a very large LO. I used the Jillibean Soup Die Cuts that came in the ‘Wellies’ addon.

I also added some pieces from the ‘Bumbershoot’ addon’. You can see more photos of my frame in my gallery here if you wish.

And finally Alissa used her frames to make another amazing minibook.  Alissa says ” I used the the frames in a mini book about my happy things right now. One frame per page. Creates a polaroid out of my instagram photos. :)  ”

Here is the front cover.

And a couple of pages from the inside. You can see the other pages in Alissa’s gallery here.

We hope you have enjoyed seeing all of our different ideas and just how many ways these little frames really can be used. Please do remember to visit the message board and share with us when you have created using yours. If you haven’t grabbed this kit yet, you can so do so here. Don’t miss out : )

Have a great day.
