Stamping Sensation

Hi, it’s Lisa with you today showing you what I’ve been up to with our recent stamps.

I’m not what I’d class an experienced stamper. I like stamps and love to buy them. I have loads, but I find it easy to forget I have them. I do like getting them with my monthly kit as I find I am using them more and it’s almost like a reminder that I own stamps as I’m finding I’m reaching for my older Cocoa Daisy stamps from previous kits at the same time as I’m using the new ones.

Take my latest Mini Book that I made as an example.

I’ve used a collection of stamps throughout this. I found that by sticking with the same few it was easy to follow a theme and look throughout the book.

I love this months Camera Stamp.

If you’ve purchased the Travel Journal Project Kit this month, this stamp goes so perfectly.

This is one of my favourite pages.

I wanted to use the chevron arrow stamps from a previous months kit but the arrows are in a row of 7 and I didn’t want to stamp that many. So I used some masking tape to cover up some of the arrows so I could just stamp a a couple of rows at a time. And on the page below I stamped just the one row by covering up the rest.

If you want to see more pics of the Travel Journal you can do so here.

The other project that I used my stamps on this month is this LO here.

Once again I wanted to use the camera stamp, but I wanted to use it in separate parts. The camera and the message around the outside, but it comes as one.

Out comes the masking tape again and covers the part that you don’t want to stamp. You press it in the ink and then remove the tape before stamping and you get this result.

The camera without the ring. Or the ring without the camera.

And I have to add…I love the Maya Inks : ) Really easy to use.

I hope you like how I’ve used my stamps this month. I’ve had lots of fun with them.

Thanks for stopping by and have a lovely weekend xxx
