July’s Stamping Sensation

Did you notice how many stamps were available this month??
OODLES!! And that means there are oodles of possibilities on how to use them.
Don’t you love how Ashley used the Anchor stamp in the Day In The Life Summer Labels stamp set?

Here is her page

And here is a close up of the stamp

“I stamped the anchor pointy tab on vellum (using Prima chalk ink, Rusty Hinge from the Daisy Boutique), to make a flag embellishment.

On the same page, I used a variety of CD tabs and arrows to make little page markers for my faux minibook/map that I created by folding up the sheet of Pebbles Lakeside map paper. I used stamps from the current kit, and this set: arrow love stamp set.

On this page, I used these stamps: You Are My Happy Place banner Confetti and, Coffee Ring along with the new hot air balloon for July.
The pink polka dots are the confetti stamp and one of the small circle stamps from the Happy Banner set, embossed in neon pink embossing powder. The coffee ring is stamped in blue ink directly on the background paper. The hot air balloon was stamped using CD hybrid ink, pink watercolour added over top, and then I backed it with chipboard and put matte gel over top to give it more weight on the page. I cut the sentiments out of the You Are My Happy Place banner and stamped just the banner and embossed in silver glitter.”

MandyKay also used the Summer Labels stamps, I love how they are tucked in behind the pattern paper.
Lisa wrote this about her stamping
“I loved the ‘Today – Tomorrow – Yesterday’ – stamps so much and decided to use all 3 to border my LO.I made the LO up in the centre and then stuck each stamp to a block, chose my Prima Chalk Inks and then stamped around the edge of the LO.”Image

Anna pulled out the stamp from the Main Kit.
“I used the “you are my”-stamp with distress ink on a part of the yellow tag. The tag was slightly glossy and it took a while before the ink was dry, but it worked!”Image
And finally, here is a page I created using the 3 arrow stamps found in the Day In The Life kit
I stamped them onto some pattern paper and then tucked them in under the photo, to create a banner.

See! Told you there were lots of stamps this month AND lots of options on how to use them!
Can’t wait to see what you all create with them too!
